@#$%....looks this is the one we dreaded since Alicia in '83.  Gonna decide tomorrow if it is time to leave.  Only hotel room I could find was in Kountze!  Well...love that Mama Jack's.

Live right on north end of Trinity Bay but foundation is at 21 ft.  Hope its enough.  As slow as this thing is moving it may even turn and go north and east of here.  I know GT doesn't need another one of these either.  Lets hope and pray for the best...good luck to everyone.

Only reason i asked COOP where he thought was because i called channel 6 myself and a guy told me greg was pissed cause hes telling these emergency management people that this thing is probably gonna be a direct hit and they won't call an immediate evacuation... that has us  little concened here..someone is not telling us everything....its known that if they call for mandatory , they have to have resources to help the special needs people..and they don't have that anymore cause they sent it all down to Corpus...wtf?...

surely they wouldn't keep information like that from the public and risk another disaster like katrina or rita

Now, if Ike is going to pull a Rita, these next few model runs will be crucial. By tomorrow @ 4pm, if the NHC hasn't changed their track, scratch the Rita scenario. But tonight's and tomorrow's model runs are key!

Morning model data will have all recon and gulf stream data in...

The Models aren't going to change that much..gfdl looking pretty solid right now..euro was 85 miles off of gustav and prob will be the same for this one...its just moving so freaking slow and with it moving nw all day today just change this whole forecast....i mean hoopins i wouldn't be suprise if its a texas/la hit i mean these stroms are odd

man its not going to change that much...its going to be a freaking close call...gfdl hasn't really changed that much the last 3 runs...and its a solid model 3 days before landfall.

yeah i hear you i am tired as hell but i am just getting my stuff together so i can head out of here...my buddy that used to play for fsu got me some tickets for sats game so i am headed towards nole country
