Or you are a grade "A" ***clown. This is a very dangerous storm, and it is not going to be fun and jokes for Texas residents along the coast somewhere, including the possibility of here. WILL YOU PLEASE LIGHTEN UP? I understand you are angry at the world, and depressed about your life and all and want to pick a fight, but I am not!!....GOODNESS!! : Whatever, Dick

bullets13 Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 emergency management might get a chance to find out which is more unforgivable... making us evacuate when we didn't need to, or trying to correct that mistake and waiting too long to evacuate us this time. if this storm turns, there's going to be a lot of fallout if we're made to evacuate only a day and a half before the storm gets here. i really hope this works out for everyone.
Piratefan4life Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 how far inland will a 15-20 ft storm surge reach and in Beaumont how high would the water be
akifan94 Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 how far inland will a 15-20 ft storm surge reach and in Beaumont how high would the water be I am not sure. I would think that to have a storm surge reach Bmt. it would have to be a near direct hit.
KFDM COOP Posted September 10, 2008 Author Report Posted September 10, 2008 Cat 5 would bring water to Beaumont.
HoopInsider_Cooper Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 New GFDL model, Cat 3 - Galveston Bay

horndawg Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 James Brown just said at noon that the high pressure would stay strong enough to keep it south...I wouldn't go into panic mode yet..
Bobcatfan4life Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 James Brown just said at noon that the high pressure would stay strong enough to keep it south...I wouldn't go into panic mode yet.. I saw that. He seemed very confident it would stay south and all we would get would be tropical storm type weather
BCWOSfan Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 They also seemed very confident Rita would land in Corpus Christi!!

Guest DickVitale Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 Yeah, I was fishin'!! .. I just can't see how people are trying to tie these two storms together somehow....There are so many things that are different such as the high pressure system and such. I just am not in panic mode about this...
GUNHO Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 Where is this south location??? Everything is south of us!!!!!!!
