PNG70 Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 Coop....what r ur thoughts? Are we going to be in trouble?
KFDM COOP Posted September 6, 2008 Author Report Posted September 6, 2008 Waay to early on that. System is not even in the bahamas yet. By Monday we'll have a good idea.
catbacker Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 I got my junior meterologist badge for Gustav, I might give it back now. New Orleans dead on
HoopInsider_Cooper Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 No football next week without a doubt, unless Ike recurves to NE GOM. Too close. Will have to evacuate againÂ
Lazeek Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 My gut (and most people know that it is a big one) tells me that this storm will turn a little more north and hit around Pensacola!!!! Hope my gut is accurate.
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 I feel for those in Haiti and Cuba. they've been hit pretty hard this year
Gasilla Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 The guy on TWC says it will enter the Eastern GOM then turn North up into the FL Panhandle and AL.
KFDM COOP Posted September 6, 2008 Author Report Posted September 6, 2008 Should be east of New Orleans!! Should be. ;D
Gasilla Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 Man... with this little bit of cooler air we got, it just doesn't seem like we should still be worried about hurricanes... :
KFDM COOP Posted September 6, 2008 Author Report Posted September 6, 2008 I agree! System should stay east. Another front comes down next week so hopefully it stays east.
Guest baseball25 Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 its not even in the gulf yet....once in gets there then we will have a better idea....wsw trent won't be good if it keeps it up for 3 or 4 days.....
Guest etbu Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 Coop what does this mean? http://blogs.chron.com/sciguy/
KFDM COOP Posted September 6, 2008 Author Report Posted September 6, 2008 Models are trending farther west, more toward LA or Texas. Hope this changes!
Lazeek Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 I am sticking with my earlier prediction of Pensacola!!!
adminbaberuth Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 You know, these graphics were right on with gustav, I'm concerned.
bullets13 Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 this is going to suck. people are going to be hesitant to evacuate, and bosses are going to be hesitant to let employees off work, and we'll probably end up with an evacuation mess and a direct hit.
CardinalFan Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 We won't see IKE with the following forecast from the NWS, instead, better be prepared for some warm clothes, and temperatures never seen before in SETX.. Wrap those pipes ASAP! Because these temps will be dropping by 72 degrees by tomorrow! (Obviously a hiccup on their server).
hockeyfan Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 With temperatures like that, I better get out my hockey skates! Looks like our swimming pool will be my own personal skating rink.Â
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 XTRAP of current NHC Forecast > dang it.
BLUEDOVE3 Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 Dang, we must be in the Twilight Zone! :'(
