Actually the 1991 season WB was ranked in the top 5 and I think in 1992 also. I was on the 91 team and I think we were #4.

I'm sorry there ranked # 9 on the texasfootball.com site, not the AP. It is nice to see the kids are getting so recognition.

Nope! 5ATexasFootball.com has the Bruins ranked #25. Dave Campbell has the Bruins ranked #12. And the THSCA poll has the Bruins in at #9. These were all pre-season rankings. They might have improved since Week 0! The AP did not have the Bruins ranked in the pre-season, although all the aforementioned polls may have seen the Bruins climb in the rankings after a 43 point win over Beaumont Ozen.

I stand corrected. After checking the updated polls, it seems that West Brook had made a jump from #12 to #9 in the Dave Campbell poll. This is the only updated poll I have been able to find.

End of season ranking for the 1991 season was #4......The Bruins finished the 1992 season ranked #5. Both seasons ended in the first round of the playoffs at 10-1.

It's not up to me....unfortunately!  ;D I can be the biggest cheerleader in the world, and if our boys dont show up to play then it doesn't matter. However, judging by what I saw in Week 0, I think the folks who make up the polls are eventually gonna have to stand up and take notice.
