Bobcatfan4life Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 What's your thoughts on the Bulldogs this year?
KFDM COOP Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 Sure they can. They have a great QB along with Mosley and great recievers with a good line. Nederland will make the playoffs!
Bobcatfan4life Posted August 12, 2006 Author Report Posted August 12, 2006 I think they will be playing after week 10.
KFDM COOP Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 No doubt! Can't forget about Dravanti Johnson, Colby Miller, Benton.
Gasilla Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 It'll be interesting to see who the "odd man out" will be in this district.
Guest Kelly Football Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 In my opinion Dayton and PN-G miss out. Dayton is good but they have always played in a weaker District.
SFA85 Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 What great receivers. Butler and Whitiker are gone..... So the answer is no
tvc184 Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 What great receivers. Butler and Whitiker are gone..... So the answer is no That makes sense. Two receivers graduated so they won't win. At least the other teams in the district have all 22 starters coming back.....
ndnsrock44 Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 No. Too much inexperience. Playoffs yes. District title, no.
KFDM COOP Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 Yea but Coach Neuman and staff can turn avergae recievers into great ones.
robertslsu Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 I attended the morning practice today and I was quite surprised by the overall size and speed of this years team. Nederland's varsity numbers are down this year - I counted 31 varsity players (noting several members are still playing baseball). If the dogs can remained injury free then they will make the playoffs again.
KFDM COOP Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 I saw their practice late Friday for a few minutes and saw the same thing. They'll make the post season.
Guest Kelly Football Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 I'll stick with my earlier guess Nederland Central Ozen
KFDM COOP Posted August 13, 2006 Report Posted August 13, 2006 Not with that great Coaching staff they have!
Matt Posted August 13, 2006 Report Posted August 13, 2006 I think Ozen intimidates Nederland, and they will not beat Central, so no they will not win district 22-4A It will be a battle for 3rd between Nederland and Dayton, PN-G spends to much energy trying to beat Nederland, instead of trying to win disrict games
Bigdog Posted August 13, 2006 Report Posted August 13, 2006 Umm, we don't back down from any game thats why we play Lamarque, and also own the overall record against Ozen. Oh, and PNG is in our district so MCM is a district game.
Guest Kelly Football Posted August 13, 2006 Report Posted August 13, 2006 I think Ozen intimidates Nederland' date=' and they will not beat Central, so no they will not win district 22-4A It will be a battle for 3rd between Nederland and Dayton, PN-G spends to much energy trying to beat Nederland, instead of trying to win disrict games[/quote'] Coaching is always a concern at Ozen with all that talent. I think Ned beats Ozen.
Guest GoStangs Posted August 13, 2006 Report Posted August 13, 2006 After last year, any concern about Ozen's coaching should have been answered.
KFDM COOP Posted August 13, 2006 Report Posted August 13, 2006 GS..Your prediction. Nederland or Ozen?
Guest GoStangs Posted August 13, 2006 Report Posted August 13, 2006 Ozen. I think Ozen and Central are the two top teams in that district this year.
Guest Kelly Football Posted August 13, 2006 Report Posted August 13, 2006 We'll see, i think Nederland will take Ozen, just my observation. Coaching will hurt Ozen down the stretch.
Guest GoStangs Posted August 13, 2006 Report Posted August 13, 2006 Fair enough. Just out of curiosity, why do you think this season will be any different than the last two years, in which Ozen beat NED?
NeDeRlAnD b-DoG fAn Posted August 13, 2006 Report Posted August 13, 2006 I say Nederland finished 1st or 2nd in district. The other 2 teams going will be the Beaumont school (Central and Ozen)
Guest Kelly Football Posted August 13, 2006 Report Posted August 13, 2006 Fair enough. Just out of curiosity' date=' why do you think this season will be any different than the last two years, in which Ozen beat NED?[/quote'] You may be right. My prediction is Nederland over Ozen this year.
