Tiger90
Diboll has an excellent kicker. He was the difference maker. Silsbee made tremendous strides from last week's Davis game. The blocking is slowly coming around. The referees were clueless most of the time tonight. They struggled with calls all night on both teams. Guest tigersvoice
Man what happen to the Tigers? Silsbee's problems started last May! We graduated too many "Hosses." We have no size in the offensive or defensive lines. We had to take a first class linebacker last year and make him the nose guard this year. Coach McGallion is trying to use the talent that he has to the best outcome. Our skill positions are OK but the Lumberjacks just wore us down with their size. Diboll is a good squad. Their principal running back, Jackson, is listed as 175 lbs. and he is hard as nails (and as Willie says, his breath probably smells like kerosene) and he probably averaged 7 yards a carry on us tonight. Their little QB, Spenser, is quick afoot and throws very well on the run. Their kicker - yeah he's cool. On the game winner, he knocks it through and turns and simply trots to the sideline. No emotion of any kind - like I do this every day. Silsbee is going to have to finesse teams this year when they are used to smash mouthing. That's as frank as I can report it. Go Tigers - we will support you.

sportsguy
Yes, Matthew Deaver is kicking for the team. But as for playing soccer, he will be on the field for the soccer team! He will also bring home the 3A state tennis medal!!
MrsT12
You left out all the teams he's (Deaver) on that he uses his brain for!!
