Both teams fought hard, but Kirbyville outlasted them bulldogs 44-43. It was a high scoring game like everybody predicted....considering it was a rivarly game. Kirbyville will take on WOS which I predict will be a better match than ever before.

Sorry but WOS is not Jasper. You will lose this one and it won't be close. ;D

Kirbyville beat us yes they did.  BUT it wasn't their offence that did it.  Their specialty teams wooped Jasper.  Kickoff run back for a TD , punt runback for a TD, two 2 point conversions allowed and one tipped field goal attempt.  If it hadn't been for those teams the outcome would be different.  Great job cats on those teams

Yes I must admit I am a man about it, Kirbyville won good job, but I must say Jasper played a good game and Kirbyville did also, I can see both teams going deep in the playoffs, Armstrong #4 was the key to the running game, and Spikes#10 was the key to the passing game. Jasper need to get everything in sink because the coaching staff need to recognize that Bailey can't win the game by himself. Bailey is  a great Athlete, but coaches in the surrounding area has figured a game plan for him. Offensive coordinator, lets wake up and mix things up, it seem like to me after Spikes didn't play the whole third quarter, due to the cramping your other receivers got outta sink. My hat goes out to #32, #11, #5,and number #1, and #4 for kirbyville good game. Man that was a good game.

Yea what ever.Good game K-ville but you know you guys got lucky better get those CB. SS. FS. in shape cause if jasper WR. would have been able to hold on the ball you know it would have been a jasper win.But it is what it is.Good Game KATS.

just as an observer with no ties to them, i would say that jasper has beat themselves the last two games with poor special teams and dropped passes...i was at the Jasper-Gilmer game and the KO return by gilmer and the dropped pass in the endzone in 4th really stick out in my mind as game changing, and from reading about this game it seems like special teams lost it for em...so jasper is much better than the 0-2 record shows, JMO

this game was exciting for both sides,very intense. Yes, there were alot of mistakes made, missed passes, tackles, etc. for both teams, but they kept trying.  It reminded me of the Kville vs. Silsbee game last year, down to the wire with a one point win, on a 2 point conversion.  Good luck to both teams
