Lazeek Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 I will start by saying that the Hawks shock the world and beat the Pirates 24-22 on a last second FG!!!!! THE KICK HEARD ROUND SE TEXAS!!!!!! ;D
Guest tchawks99 Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 I hope the Hawks win, but we played Woodville too close... Vidor didn't play a great team Friday, but it sounds to me they can run the ball with alot of big backs..It will be a good test for us..Go hawks! prediction= Vidor 24 Hawks 27.....
Volley_baller2010 Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 Im goin with Vidor on this one
AggiesAreWe Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 "Prediction? Pain!!!" Clubber Lang Vidor 27 HJ 0
Lazeek Posted September 7, 2008 Author Report Posted September 7, 2008 Who would have thunk it!!!!!! Hardin-Jefferson 0-2 Silsbee 0-2
AggiesAreWe Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 Who would have thunk it!!!!!! Hardin-Jefferson 0-2 Silsbee 0-2 Actually, I would. Little bit of difference in H. Davis,Diboll and Cleveland, Woodville.
Lazeek Posted September 7, 2008 Author Report Posted September 7, 2008 When teams are selected for playoffs does it matter who you lost to? Regardless both teams are 0-2!!! ;D However Silsbee will make the playoffs and HJ will be getting ready for Silsbee on the hardwood!!!! ;D
HJ-Hawks25 Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 HJ's first home game of the season (finally) after traveling 4 times within the last 4 weeks. I think HJ will have their work cut out for them, but still a tough game against a well running vidor team.
RonBurgundy68 Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 Well if the fumbles and penalties continue, then the game will be alot closer than it should be... But my boys will get that fixed, and Vidor wins 28-10
TheRef Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 Coach Martel makes the adjustments needed and the game ends closer than you think. I say 1 point game HJ wins this one in a shocker.
snafu Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 I will say after watching us play Bmt Kelly and Houston St. Thomas that if we can keep the pigskin in our mitts instead of bouncing on the ground like humpty dumpty it could be another 500 yd night. I do not know anything about H-J, but I do know we seen 1 good team and a decent team and we played well against both. Our biggest problem is fumbling. Reynolds was broke out fixing to run another 50+ yd TD and dropped the ball.... we fumbled 4 times total against St Thomas.... they are looking good. I wish H-J good luck but I am going with them Vidor Pirates.... Pirates 31 H-J 10
bear27 Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 I'm a Hawk myself, and as much as i would love to see this one go our way, I'm gonna be a little realistic and say vidor is gonna take it, but not by much.
bullets13 Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 it's unlikely that HJ will make this game too competitive. Vidor is an improved team, and HJ is struggling. Vidor by 3 TD's. I am interested to see how Vidor does when they have to start playing other 4A schools.
grizzly62 Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 Vidor by 21 HJ is weak sorry!!!! :-\
piratesplayer2 Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 pirates will win! they are gonna come ready to play! if vidor holds on to the ball we are gonna be hard to beat!
revenge of 1964 Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 WILL VIDOR HAVE ENOUGH SEATING
grizzly62 Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 If not im sure the HJ side will have enough room!!!!
Guest Pirate V Ball Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 If we get to play, Vidor by 35+. Wish Coach would toughen up the schedule.
sbearcat Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 Vidor by 14, their offense is like novocaine, it will slowly numb you, then bang!!! they rip off long runs, like pulling a tooth.
