Guest Its_All_About_Tha_U Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 Lumberton by quite a bit.
AJ25 Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 silsbee has quite a few athletic players. not sure on how well they are coached.. we'll hopefully see fridayÂ
Guest #1raider Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 so how good is their QB... is he more of a passer or a runner? By their QB i mean silsbee.
Guest maverick24 Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 Silsbee wins by 2 TDs Proof that they let everyone get on  here even those that know very little about sports. Now I was asked to explain something and everyone that was at the game Friday in Lumberton will understand. I said going into last week that sometimes it looks like Coach C is as much or more concerned about teaching things in the preseason than winning. I was told I was crazy. Ok here it is Folks. Lumberton  was running the ball at will against BH. after getting the lead The Raiders had several series where you could tell that Coach C was tring to get the young QB Ryan some confidence they went out and started throwing the Ball. At least once maybe more they went out and went 3 and out and threw all 3 times. You could hear the fans groan, but I thought it was a good idea to get Ryan some passes. In our District people will stack the line if they think we cant throw at all. Great Job Coaches, Players and Fans. See yall in Silsbee where we win I wont say Big because Coach C is not that kind of Coach that runs up the score.
TNTITANS Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 Big House-- WHY are you opening up that can of worms boy? LHS all the way!!! It's been a long time since these two teams played, should be a fun game bringing back the Village Creek Rivalry! Maybe the Raiders will be FULL STEAM AHEAD and will blow IKE back out to the Gulf the other way!!!
82 5A State Champs Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 Lumberton in a close one!
AJ25 Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 lumberton wont blow this one out purposely. coach c is a classy coach. thats not to say that lumberton wont continue to score because of the running game..

Guest #1raider Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 Silsbee wins by 2 TDs Ok look guy Silsbee hasn't won a game yet this year so why would you think they would beat Lumberton by 14 points... have you seen Lumberton play
raider12 Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 Silsbee has a few good players but lumberton wins in the second half
AggiesAreWe Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 I will reserve my predictions for our preview show tonight.
Guest ST4life Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 Silsbee has the best player out of these two teams and he his the QB Johnson i was at the last game agianst dibol and johnson made them look like snails but when you play your best player on both sides of the ball there's nothing left in the tank at the end of the game thats why they lost agianst dibol. my perdiction  Silsbee speed kills but playing your best players on offense and defense wont get you far plus silsbee is young and needs some bigger guys on the line so ill say Lumberton Wins by 10 at the end but silsbee keeps it close up until the 3rd
Guest Its_All_About_Tha_U Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 The kid may be the best player on Silsbee & the best player on the field at his position but it is definitely up for debate who is the best football player overall on the field out of both teams. BTW, Lumberton has heard the "speed kills" phrase numerous times before...Central, Dayton, & LaMarque to name a few, and it didn't matter. Lumberton has some speed on defense to stop Silsbee's QB...trust me! He may make some big plays, not saying he won't, but in the end Lumberton can handle that speed and should prevail in this one. Oh..., & one more thing Diboll and Lumberton are not the same team.
