stangchain Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 We could always move the GAME up north and give us something to do when we evacuate. Just load those yella dogs up and reserve us a stadium somewhere! (It may very well need to be on Saturday then!!! LOL)

KFDM COOP Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 That's the National Hurricane Center Track..
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 might have to hold off on that evacuation plan. 8)
NewIndian Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 im liking the track on the NOAA website and they are pretty accurate, they said where Gustav was gonna hit and were pretty dead on NOAA.gov
24 over par Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 looks like ike going south hopfully no evacuation
ljeicp08 Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 Cooper will still evacuate if the Ike goes into Cancun...thanks for the clutch help!
ncplaya Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 Personally, I dont think any of them have a clue. Depends on what that High pressure does.
KFDM COOP Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 Cooper will still evacuate if the Ike goes into Cancun...thanks for the clutch help! Better hope the High holds.

PNG Proud Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 It's gonna have to get an awful lot closer than the cone for me to evacuated. I didn't evacuate last week and I'm sure glad of that.
Guest ECBucFan Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 I won't evac unless a storm is a 4 or 5. These "mandatory" evacs DON'T take into account some people still have to work, storm or not. They blew it big time on the "mandatory" call for hurricaine Goof-off.
newton_eagles Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 Wow man, the best case scenario that could of happen did, so i would be happy about having everything intact and wouldn't be mad at the officials. I guess some of us will only be satisfied by an evacuation call when our house no longer exists?
Guest headnocker Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 true dat these people crazy and you cant please them . if they didnt call it and it tore up everthing would that make you happy?
Guest ECBucFan Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 Last two posters: I don't live in Jefferson Co. I live in Chambers, which did NOT have an evac order. Look at the chron.com website, and a HURRICAIN EXPERT is saying simular things. He suggests not evacing UNLESS you are in a surge zone. It is a sad state of affairs when someone shares a simple opinion and thought, and is called CRAZY. This site is not so much fun anymore.
bulldawg64 Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 i stayed last time, but you need to get the kids, and elderly out if its mandtory because i was here during rita it sucked, hot, mosquitoes bigger than birds, on and on i could go on,its better if you can go and be safe than sorry if we get the call!
TXBaseball Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 check the projections on noaa.gov those are the most accurate.
