With all of the Houston area schools affected as well, has anyone heard if they are considering extending the season one week giving the non-affected areas a week off to prep for first round games while SETX/Houston finish up???

Haven't heard. What will probably happen is there will be 1 week in the 4A District where you'll play on a Monday and Saturday then get back to Friday's.

Why on earth would the LCM staff schedule, much less consider a game if they couldn't get the players to fill the uniforms.  In my opinion this is ludacris.  Surely they have a better head on their shoulders than that, if not, then my apologies to the kids that are being put under this staffs program. HORRIBLE call on their staffs part if this was the case.

That's what i am saying let the kids that are back in town play ball!!!!!! this is the second time that he has pulled this this season don't get all them kids hopes up to play then say naw we ain't going to play if you known that you wouldn't have all your kids back then y schedule a game???? I'm hearing that this game was scheduled without the signoff of those in charge at LCM.  LCM was also the school telling their teachers to come home on Friday while there is still a mandatory evacuation was on.  A big NO NO.  City officials didn't like that too much.

thanks for the notification of my improper spelling so glad your so quick to catch it do you have any oher comments to make perhaps this time it will pertain to sports and not english class.  i'm sure there is a chat room for people like you that want to sit around and talk about hyperboles, synonyms, and acronyms. stuff that hasn't got anything to do with FOOTBALL which is what we were discussing.  Can't stand morons like you.  get a life or go back to your literature hole.
