KFDM COOP Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 Newton at Hardin-Jefferson Friday Oct.3 7pm
ncplaya Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 I saw HJ on film vs. Cleveland. Newton by however many they want.
Guest beat-em_deep Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 newton by as much as they want ... sorry hj there just too good
slick74 Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 This game will not be fun at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . . . ..... for HJ NEWTON by 40. . . . . . at the half. LOL
Wildcat4life Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 C'mon Hardin Jefferson show some heart and shoot the gaps to stop Newton's big play the scat and dive. If you do that, then you got yourself in a good ball game. Newton will run the ball down your throat if your defense not quick enough to stop the scat (their bread and butter).
bearddy Posted September 27, 2008 Report Posted September 27, 2008 h. j. has a win under their belt and it feels good ,h.j are ready to play ,the team knows what it takes to win.
Guest tigersvoice Posted September 27, 2008 Report Posted September 27, 2008 h. j. has a win under their belt and it feels good ,h.j are ready to play ,the team knows what it takes to win. OK, but Newton is going to be MAD.
eagledado8 Posted September 27, 2008 Report Posted September 27, 2008 > Newton will be coming to win!
Guest Wildcat 08 Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 49-6 Newton is my prediction.
HJ-Hawks25 Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 The game will be totally different if HJ comes to play like they did against Anahuac in the 2nd half.
Panther Pride Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 The game will be totally different if HJ comes to play like they did against Anahuac in the 2nd half. The difference in this game will be that Curtis Barbay will not make the same mistake as Darrel did. Curtis will have Newton ready to add more points on HJ the second half!! Newton 55 HJ 7
hjhawks Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 What mistakes did Darrell make? HJ played well in the 2nd half.
horndawg Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 I believe this will be a LOOOOOONNNNNNNNGGGGGG night for the Hawks. I'll say: Newton - 52 HJ - 6 Although I don't wish this upon HJ, I just think Newton is too fast for the Hawks
HJ-Hawks25 Posted September 30, 2008 Report Posted September 30, 2008 The game will be totally different if HJ comes to play like they did against Anahuac in the 2nd half. The difference in this game will be that Curtis Barbay will not make the same mistake as Darrel did. Curtis will have Newton ready to add more points on HJ the second half!! Newton 55 HJ 7 I think HJ will have a well executed game plan and will keep it close. Newton does have some big bodies and fast guys with great hands though. I think it'll be a better game than a large deficit.
bayou_bengal Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 yeah HJ may be coming ready to play because they have a win under their belt but Newton is coming off of a loss and they're gonna be ready to play. Newton by 35
Guest beat-em_deep Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 okay this is a little off topic but i thought that H-Js stadium lights had damage during the hurricane??
HJ-Hawks25 Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 okay this is a little off topic but i thought that H-Js stadium lights had damage during the hurricane?? The 'Poles' themselves didn't get the damage but the lights at the top did. Some were broke and all were facing different ways. But they got them facing the field again and repaired the damaged ones.

Thats great news glad to hear that! Go get em HJ play em hard.
purpleeagle Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 If HJ can get those referees that Diboll had then it may be a close game. Newton lost their safety who is one of the leading tackers on defence, broke toe, out 4 to 6 weeks. Barbay will not run the score up on anyone on purpose. He will play in second team most of the second half. Newton 42 HJ 7
Hotrodg Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 I don't know anything about HJ really. Can anyone tell me a little about them?
