Nederland really starting to find some running lanes.  Ozen was doubling Cardenas and Brady both in the first half.  It looks like they are making sure not to give up big plays.  That looks like it's playing into the score or at least it sounds like a good reason...lol

Nederland stepped it up on D and established a running game, both were major areas of concern goin into the game and they were handled well

Wow!  I just left at halftime and both teams seem to be at a standstill.  Great adjustments at half.. Just goes to show that good coaching can overcome talented obstacles.

Left after the 3rd quarter.  Ozen offense is truly pitiful.  Backs don't run hard and they can't pass.  Ned has a pretty good running back, but it seems that he only started getting good yards when Ozen D gave out.  Looked kinda like Ozen quit.  JMO

Sloppy first half, some dumb penalties and poor time management. on the upside, much better defensive game, Ozen only scored on a short field.

Great second half,  Defense stayed up and didn't disappear in the second half, which had been happening most likely because of the running game being established and the D staying off of the field more. Next up , MCM!

Dogs looked much better tonight...they improved in the areas they needed to...that being the running game and tackling...much better on both fronts this week
