Man i remember several years ago when HI had a great team. Hopefully their on the up rise.

I love covering 1A games, people always remember you there and are always thankful for the coverager. Last year I shot two High Island games, homecoming against Evadale and later against Hull-Daisetta. Only thing about High Island is you better bring your OFF!

There is no way High Island has 183 kids in high school. I am not sure if they have that many in the whole school system.

I just looked on the UIL website. Their enrollment was 112 at realignment.

For the same reason a coach takes a 5'9" 150lb player and puts him at 6'2" 220lb in the program.

110-120 sounds about right. They usually graduate about 25-30 each year.
