td Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 I haven't seen Lumberton play but I did see Central and that was enough for me to form an uninformed opinion. Central wins. They are fast and hit hard on defense.

GO JAGS! ....I tried to tell y'all about that "STAR" Charlie Thomas coming to the Offense on the G-Ball thread...we'll keep getting better....look out 20-4A...Jags on back to claim what's theirs...A District Title....one game at a time! ;D
Bigdog Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 Vidor got lucky last week but the L Train will be abck on track this week!! Luv ya Blue, I still love your signature "Vidor Finally Beat Us," but again it makes absolutely no sense. Vidor has a .714 winning percentage against Lumberton. In 14 meetings we have beat yall 10 times. Face it, Vidor owns Lumberton. As do a lot of teams..

piratefan Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 trying to be unbiased, but Vidor owns Lumberton ..look it up..
82 5A State Champs Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 trying to be unbiased, but Vidor owns Lumberton ..look it up.. ...by "owns", do you mean purchased? Why would you want to own an old nasty Raider? LOL! Just kidding Raider fans. ;D
piratefan Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 It is two programs that mirror eachother ,but Vidor has been up on this series the last 10 years. Hanna is a load, and a great running back. But Vidor did a great job the second half ..
Guest BIG HOUSE Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 Dont let your boys play on the tracks, THEY'LL get HIT BY A TRAIN ;D ;D ;D
Foyce Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 First of all I thought this was Central at Lumberton Not a Pi Rats thread. Pi Rats won ok I NOW CROWN YOU STATE CHAMPS!!!! What do yall want The real Raider fans have said yall played great admitted yall won move on it will take more than one win to make the playoffs. I remember yall beating a Mid-County team once before acting all crazy like yall were World beaters and sat at home playoff time. I will save a prediction till I see if some of the hurt Raider players are ready to play. Without the LB's that are hurt it will be a long night and Central should win. If the entire Raider team is healthy (or at least close) Then I think it will be a good game with prolly a special teams play making the dif. The "Pie Rat" defence as you call them had the Ltrain QB on his back so much it may be a while till he is feeling better! ;D
Razor08 Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 If Lumberton can get there o line tuned up Hanna will run over and away from central. Just like he did vidor and every other team he has faced so far and hopefully Beard gets some carries this game. If the cramps go away I think he will. He is a huge load as well!
td Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 I have to agree with whoever said it, do you know how ridiculous it is for you to put Vidor FINALLY beat us, when they are 10-4 against yall? 10-4 that was the record wasn't it?
dme1111 Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 I think Centarl wins this one. Lumberton is just not that good this year. A Lumberton win would make the district race more interesting.
Guest Uhhh What? Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 I have to agree with whoever said it, do you know how ridiculous it is for you to put Vidor FINALLY beat us, when they are 10-4 against yall? 10-4 that was the record wasn't it? Yeah, 10-4 is the record in favor of Vidor. Luv Ya Blue is probably someone who jumped on the L-Train last year.
PURPLE 4EVER Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 Lumberton's defensive speed is slower than the sap dripping down a sweet gum tree. Central's playmakers will have the speed to get outside then the Raiders will have a good view of the Jaguars warning label on the back of their helmets as they chase them into the end zone. Central's speed will be the difference in the game.
BMTSoulja1 Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 We really have to be carefull of what is going on. We started off the same way last year at with our only loss being to WB. We started district off 2-0. We ended up losing the rest of our district games. That was a team with Derrick Hall and Charlie Thomas on it. It's more than speed here. We have to come out and execute and block and keep on the blocks. Lumberton know we are fast and will be trying to keep us from the outside. If our blocking schemes are perfected in this week of practice, we should finish this week at 3-0 in district.
-Central_Jaguars Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 Let me be the first to correct you , we started district 1-1 , beat LCM and then lost to big Ned and Lumberton, beat Vidor and then lost the rest.
BMTSoulja1 Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 Sorry. My memory on last year's team is so cloudy. I think it was the same result. We only won 2 district games. I was thinking that both the LC-M and Vidor games were back to back.
BORAM Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 I haven't missed any Lumberton games this year.... I am debating if this is gonna be even worth watching. After Lumbertons 2nd half crash against vidor last week, I am unsure if they can pull it back together.
dayton Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 Lumberton NEEDS this one. they have to win a couple they're "not supposed to" to stay in the race.
obcowboy Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 Gonna be a tough game...hope to see everyone there! I hope Lumberton is at full strength so there can be NO excuses when they lose! Either way, my brother said they are working hard and they want to redeem themselves after last season's big break down! I think the Jags have gotten used to playing on the road and are playing like some real "Road Warriors" 8)

After Lumbertons 2nd half crash against vidor last week, I am unsure if they can pull it back together. Support the team when they are winning and when they are struggling. If not, we will be where we were 3 yrs ago. Coach Creduer will get this fixed. Im not saying we will win out. But Im sure we will play hard. We graduated alot of seniors last year and have 4 or 5 sophmores starting this year. We will be competitive. Please continue to support the team.

I bet it gets tiring jumping on and off of that band wagon. ;D
Raider88 Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 Don't worry guys I just got the scoop BORAM will be there, but this one will not. Some people have to work. ;D
