Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted October 6, 2008 Report Posted October 6, 2008 How about Nederland getting votes in this Poll. That surprises me!! wow, i had to read it again to see it. i guess when you beat a rival like they did and the tradition NED has helped.
jr1979 Posted October 6, 2008 Report Posted October 6, 2008 I was able to watch liberty hill play, and they are also the real deal. VERY DISCIPLINED ball club.
Guest Wildcat 08 Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 Congrats Kirbyville WOS NED and WB
GUNHO Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 Wow.How can you not have Celine in the top 25 ??? ???
GUNHO Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 I think this is a top ten poll. It is.But then you have the bottom ten listed.Should have said top 20 though.
westend1 Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 I guess no writers felt they were a top 10. That's the only way they could get votes, right?
GUNHO Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 If you look below the top 10 they list the rest of the teams that received votes....all the way down to one vote.
westend1 Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 Right. But that means they got at least 1 top ten vote, i think. In other words, if you get no top ten votes, you get no points and you don't get listed at all. The 15th ranked team could conceivably get no top ten votes, and fail to show up on the list. That's why some lists have more teams than others.
