Who's Boogy1000? Wrong persom my man. FYI I would hope you know more about local sports than me since I no longer live in Silsbee. I graduated with Lewis Arline, Thad Holden, Brandi Mccain etc..... This board is as close as I get back to Silsbee. Been to 3 games in 10yrs. I do watch them when they go to Huntsville since I live in The Woodlands.

Wow so in a basketball poll Nederland is ranked but kountze isn't? Never in a million years would I have thought I would see that. Not sure Nederland should be there yet. And kountze has to be one of the best 25 teams even if it is a down year.

It will take a few years before their football program has its effects.  Just as it did in Buna, Huntington, and West Sabine.  West Sabine is still usually good but most other programs I know that had a basketball program fell off the map in the 5-7 years after football was introduced.
