jackhammer Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 Obviously, Kirbyville will be going large school if they take care of business and Newton will go small school if they take care of business. Who does it look like they could play in the first, second, third, and fourth rounds if the other good schools take care of business in their districts. I know it's early but it's fun for us fans to look at! I keep hearing about Arp, Cisco, Daingerfield, Altar-Rice, Corrigan-Camden, etc..
jackhammer Posted October 9, 2008 Author Report Posted October 9, 2008 Arp is dang good! Went and watched them against St. Augustine! You are right! A very good QB! He does it all!

WOS87 Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 I've got a killer day at work today (25+ patients to see) but I'll see what I can come up with later tonight

Guest rykerx144 Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 here is my predictions in region three. DIV 1 Jefferson White Oak White Oak White Oak Arp Arp Marlin Champion Kirbyville Corrigan Camden Kirbyville Kirbyville Kirbyville Kountze Kountze Bye Division II Daingerfield Daingerfield Elysian Fields Daingerfield West Rusk West Rusk Hearne Daingerfield New Waverly New Waverly San Augustine East Chambers East Chambers East Chambers Champion Bye Rosebud Lott Ore City Winona Winona Rosebud Lott Frankston Rosebud Lott Rosebud Lott Rosebud Lott Buffalo Newton Newton Newton Buna Buna bye
Guest rykerx144 Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 The only other way it may play out is CC. I think Region III championship will be deceided in the first round with the Kirbyville vs. Corrigan Camden game.
Hotrodg Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 I agree. The Region 3 D1 championship is likely decided in the first round unless there is a scenarion that sends Daingerfield to D1.
Guest rykerx144 Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 The only other school in that district with greater numbers is Jefferson and from the stats of the rest of the district it look probable that Jefferson should finish at least third.
Guest rykerx144 Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 I would hate to make any predictions on any of the other regions because i know so little about them. Most of the info I could get was just the records so far without district and that could be very misleading. For example if you didnt know anything about district 22 2a and just looked at the standing it would show Shelbyvile leading at 5-0 with Kvile 4-0 and Newton only 2-2 and I think that is very misleding to someone who has no knowledge of the district. So Ill leave the rest up to WOS87 ;D
BUNA95 Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 here is my predictions in region three. DIV 1 Jefferson White Oak White Oak White Oak Arp Arp Marlin Champion Kirbyville Corrigan Camden Kirbyville Kirbyville Kirbyville Kountze Kountze Bye Division II Daingerfield Daingerfield Elysian Fields Daingerfield West Rusk West Rusk Hearne Daingerfield New Waverly New Waverly San Augustine East Chambers East Chambers East Chambers Champion Bye Rosebud Lott Ore City Winona Winona Rosebud Lott Frankston Rosebud Lott Rosebud Lott Rosebud Lott Buffalo Newton Newton Newton Buna Buna bye Buna, Kountze, and EC all with a first round bye? Is that possible?
jackhammer Posted October 10, 2008 Author Report Posted October 10, 2008 Buna, Kountze, and EC all with a first round bye? Is that possible? In the Large School (D1) playoffs there will be a bye. District 24 does not play football. That's why there will be a first round bye. Don't know D2's format.
jackhammer Posted October 13, 2008 Author Report Posted October 13, 2008 23-2A has a bye in D2 also. oh, okay Who will be the big school rep from 23-2A Buna or Anahuac? Buna should win district. Who will finish 2nd and third? It looks like Corrigan-Camden vs. Kirbyville for the first round. The winner plays either Buna or Anahuac. Is this correct? It looks like whoever wins the second round game will play Arp in the third round.
