Chorizo_11 Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 LUMBERTON BEATS CENTRAL,SO THE GAME NEXT WEEK WONT BE A BATTLE OF TWO UNDEFEATED TEAMS....SO WHO WINS...IL GO WITH THE DOGS....TO MUCH OFFENSE
Guest BIG HOUSE Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 CENTRAL....their BIG and FAST..... ;D
Guest Brubaker Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 Bighouse, have you paid any attention to what Nederland is doing to people with their offense, they get better every week. Central will not have seen an offense like this, I can promise you that.
Chorizo_11 Posted October 10, 2008 Author Report Posted October 10, 2008 BIG HOUSE MUST BE DEAF BLIND AND DUMB....LUMBERTON JUST BEAT CENTRAL AND HE IS PICKING CENTRAL TO BEAT NEDERLAND CAUSE THEY ARE BIG AND FAST.....LUMBERTON IS NOT BIG OR FAST......MAKES NO SINCE AT ALL
BMTSoulja1 Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 Ohh now yall have jokes not, huh? Just remember. Yall are in the same boat as us with 1 district loss. Learn to start being humble and respect your opponent... :-\ :-\
gastephenson Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 This game should be a really good one to watch. Â Wishing both teams good luck and may the best team win. Â Go Dogs & Jags!!
BMTSoulja1 Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 Since we don't seem to be hungry these days (we = Coaching also)... Nederland - 39 Central - 31
raideroldtimer Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 I'm gonna cross my fingers and go with Soulja on this one, go Jags!!!!!
BMTSoulja1 Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 I'll change that. Nederland 42 Central 24
GoBigBlue1997 Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 Nederland has a made a 180 degree turn from week 1, mostly due to Grogan and the balance attack of the run with the pass. Â Congats to the coaches for that move. Â Nederland took care of business tonight. Â They did what they were suppose to do, so it was good to not see them come out flat after an emotional win last week. Â If Nederland stays focused, I think Nederland wins this by 10 at least. Â I was really surprised that Lumberton was able to contain Centrals "Speed" and shutdown their offense like they did. Â Nederlands defense has played solid two weeks in a row. Â This will be a good test to see where they are really at this week.
NeDeRlAnD b-DoG fAn Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 Its gonna be a good game. Ned has been playing good football lately and Central has alot of talent and SPEED. I'll go with my dogs in this one but I say the game is decided by 1 touchdown in a shootout.
BMTSoulja1 Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 If Nederland's DB's play 15 yard off of our receivers with no safety help like Lumberton's did and we don't start throwing the pill, I will catch a fit!! We need to throw the ball 40% of the time in friday's game. We need crisp tackling and we need to disguise our blitz packages more. We need a screen pass every once in a while. If we can do these things, this could be an interesting game. The key word here is COULD be.
Guest Penny Posted October 11, 2008 Report Posted October 11, 2008 Soulja, ya'll gonna have your hands full next Friday. One additional piece of the puzzle, is that teams can't duplicate what Nederland is going to put on the field in their practices, makes adjusting to it on Friday very, very difficult. Only hope is to outscore the Dogs, but I can't see that happening without a potent passing game.
Guest LR1969 Posted October 11, 2008 Report Posted October 11, 2008 Nederland 33 Central 17....As for the "Big House" comment...I agree...Central is Big and Fast...Lumberton is not Big and Fast...But, the Raiders found a way to win and they shut down the Jags offense...What's the old saying? "It's not the size of the pencil but how you sign your name!" (HA)
jake94 Posted October 11, 2008 Report Posted October 11, 2008 I'll take the Dogs 31-21 if they can continue playing the way they have the last 3 games. If they revert back to week 0 form, then my prediction changes!
19Bulldog99 Posted October 11, 2008 Report Posted October 11, 2008 I usually don't make predicitons but this is the game that makes me nervous since Central move to 4A. I'm going with the Dogs 35-28 in OT, since Suggs is no longer with Central.
Guest Penny Posted October 11, 2008 Report Posted October 11, 2008 Jake, why are you holding back, you've seen the games, you know football, don't qualify your predictions.Â
dawgnut Posted October 11, 2008 Report Posted October 11, 2008 You have to get that anti crow clause in their Penny. Just in case it goes bad.
tvc184 Posted October 11, 2008 Report Posted October 11, 2008 You have to get that anti crow clause in their Penny. Just in case it goes bad. Yeah. I predict a win unless we lose, then I predict a loss.
