PN-G Scoreboard..Picture

Rumor is PN-G is getting a new scoreboard with a screen, I guuess they heard about LC-M

If I remember right the scoreboard they have now is only a couple of years old, but it did receive hurricane damage. Maybe insurance money is helping out.

Here's a look at the current one before the damage.

The only damage is to where the team names are.

I believe Nederland's has the scroll on it to where you can run score updates from across the area during the game. Couldn't remember if PN-G's did or not?

I think all the bigger schools will. Now all we need is turf. Almost all the East Texas schools have it.

LCM will try and get turf within 3 years is what i heard from a good source.

Vidor was going to get turf a couple of years ago but we built an 8 court tennis complex instead, which actually was a better investment.

LCM might want to invest in more stands on the visitor's side :shock: A video scoreboard and talk of field turf..............brings to mind that old Texas saying, "all hat and no cattle". :wink:

Add Vidor and Lumberton to that statement. They are pretty lame when it comes to visitor accommodations.

What about Orange field? We heard they were adding some to the visitors side a few years ago...................they went from 24 to 34.

Yea tvc! And Nederland has the best parking..I love parking a mile away in front of someone's house and walking ..

And I don't know what the complaint is ,but we have new restrooms ,and a brand new concession stand for the visitor's side..

They just added a new parking area right across the street from the stadium..

Is that someone from Vidor talking about poor parking??? I will admit that Nederland's is not good, but Vidor has to be one of the worst around. Add to that inadequate seating and you have double the problem. At least we have enough seats for visitors in Nederland.

You are right, though. Parking in Nederland is far from ideal.

They just added another parking lot right across the street from the old one they had.They did alot of renovations to the high school..

It not that much better then Nederland..

But it may be better then PNG.That place is really bad.

I agree with Lumberton, but I have never seen the visitor's side at any Vidor game full. Everytime we play at one of these school's some fans end up having to stand or sit on the home side.
