raideroldtimer Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 Unfortunately for L-Town and their next 2 opponents, PNG is going to be doing their absolute best to be the spoiler. I'm giving this one to L-Town again though. Final game of the year is now for District Champion. 8)
Guest Luv Ya Blue Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 L Train by 14! Looks like we may win the District!
raid07 Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 Unfortunately for L-Town and their next 2 opponents, PNG is going to be doing their absolute best to be the spoiler. smp83 Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 Lumberton should win this one. Just hope they don't come out over confident thinking they have this one in the bag. Can't take any team for granted.
iwonsee Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 Dont expect the L-Train to look past png I dont have to remind the kids I know Coach C will do it but we have not beat those indians yet. This could be the year but dont expect png to just lay down. They are a good team with a stud of a running back and a good coaching staff. I hope all the cars are healthy for the Train, and that we show up and pack the new stadium. Good Luck to both teams. L-Train 24 injuns 10 [move]WHO'S NEXT???????[/move]
NDNWarrior Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 Gonna be a tough game. If PNG doesn't control turnovers, the game is Lumberton's. If PNG comes out to play, then it will be close...who knows who will come away with the "W".
NDNWarrior Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 One thing for sure, Lumberton will love playing in our new stadium...it rocks!
slick74 Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 L Train by 14! Looks like we may win the District! Come on blue lets talk about one game at a time.We don't want to overlook anybody. Remember the vidor game as an example! Lumberton will be ready there is no doubt in my mind. Coach C won't let the boys get the big head again and over look nobody. LUMBERTON 42 PN-G 14
TNTITANS Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 Raiders by 14! I hope ya'll crowd that new Reservation and make it hard on the Indians! Can only imagine how much fun a game at the Reservation would be with a new stadium!!
vidor pirate Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 sorry png, gotta give this 1 to lumberton... unless some of the l-train's players heads explode from having to listen to cherokee 43590236450423 times, then it may get interesting god that thing is so annoying... must you play it every 3 seconds???
pngfan1 Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 35-14 L-Train. Ditto, not the kids faults either.
Guest Indian Chief Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 We need a change don't u agree fan?
NewIndian Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 I dont wanna see the new REZ get cursed, but L-town gotta chance to beat us this year, how long has it been since this happened if it does? ???
WTB Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 would be the first time ever. Been good games the past 2 years and im sure it will be this year. PNG kids play hard and PNG has a good coaching staff
prepballfan Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 Not so sure on the coaching staff thing but yes Lumberton has a chance to beat us but I would not take anything for granted.
WTB Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 Oh I'm not, and yall have a good staff. Last year yall were tri-district champs, stomped Gelena Park then lost to the state champs whos running back ran all-over USC. Yall lost 10 starters on D. On offense you lost a stud in Hemmings and yalls best 3 WR and a D1AA TE.
ptslmbttx Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 One thing's for sure...this district has been unpredictable this year....I'm goin' with the boys from Hardin county, but it is PNG, and anything can happen. I'm still having flash backs from this year's Vidor game. If the train stays focused, we should come out on top. LHS 32 png 10
pngfan1 Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 We need a change don't u agree fan? Yes, Matt is a good man but his time is up. He has been there longer than any other coach has stayed at PNG. and I don't want Long or anyone else who has ever coached there before. Would like to see a change like we did when we hired Malone. It is an attractive position, with good following and a new facility. No need to settle.

WTB Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 Why wouldnt you want Long? that guy gets it on Offense and changes the offense to fit his players. plus hes cool as a cucumber.
Matt Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 Gotta go with Lumberton, I would love to see them run the table on the remaining district games
Guest maverick24 Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 I haven't been able to see the Raiders alot this year but from what I hear and have seen this is not a normal year for PNG so I say the Raiders win this one. Cant wait to get back to Lumberton to see the boys play.
