Tyler Copeland and the Oilers came to High Island to play ball.  They scored early and kept the pressure on the Cardinals.  The Oilers were predicted to win and did.  The Cardinals will live to fight again.  We will enter the game with Evadale next week with the same desire to upset the Rebels.  Cardinals keep your head up and work hard at practice this week.  I am very proud of each one of you.  Good Job Oilers.

First, my hats off to the Cardinals players and coachs.  Final was 36-22.  Copeland hit Miller for 2 TD passes early on.  As the game progressed Copeland ran in 3 more TD's himself.  Props to the WH defense to holding the Cardinals to only 1 TD early on.  Their second score came off of a kickoff return for TD.  Then, their final score came with :45 left in the game, against the freshman backups.  Good job by all players and coachs.  Good luck to the Cardinals next week against Evadale.
