THIS WEEKS TOUPS GRAPHICS PREVIEWS This week in 19-4A should be ho hum. Dayton and CE King should have easy victories while the Barbers Hill vs Crosby winner is almost assured of a playoff spot. The real action will be in 20-4A where Central, Nederland, Vidor, Lumberton, and Livingston will start knocking each other out over the last three weeks. Will PN-G, Ozen, and LC-M be able to "spoil" the playoff dreams of another team? Toups Graphics picks the Nederland vs Livingston game as it's game of the week. The winner takes a monstrous step to making the playoffs while the loser is looking at one more loss and they are out. This week previews follow. 19-4A Galena Park vs Dayton The last two games Dayton has combined for over 1,000 yards of offense. This week Toups Graphics predicts the Broncos will push at the 600 yard mark for offensive production. The question will be can the defense return to the dominating form it had last year after the Nederland game in whicn the Broncos shut down almost every running team they faced. Currently ranked 14th in the Houston region by prepinsider.com can King move up one more time before it's big showdown with the Broncos (a game that will decide the district championship). Will King get over 300 yards of rushing against Memorial and roll to victory or will they play the role of Goliath and get slain with a pebble? Who will win? Check back Thursday for.... TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION Kingwood Park vs North Forest North Forest is seeing it's season spin around and around a porcelian receptacle. Can they stop the spinning before the flush occurs or will they go somewhere the Tidey Bowl man can only envision? Three weeks ago North Forest had Dayton on the ropes in the third quarter and ever since then they have drawn blanks against CE King and Crosby. Can North Forest turn the corner and ressurect their season or will Kingwood Park be celebrating on Saturday? Who will win? Check back Thursday for..... TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION GAME OF THE WEEK Barbers Hill vs Crosby 19-4A has CE King and Dayton standing on top of the mountain then everybody else. This game between Barbers Hill and Crosby is most likely the championship game of the "everybody else". Crosby won big last week over North Forest and gets to stay at home and play Barbers Hill which spent it's last Friday trying to chase Broncos all over the field. Can the Cougars put the Eagles on the brink of elimination from the play offs or will the Eagles soar high and mighty after getting stampeded? Who will win? Check back Thursday for.... TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION 20-4A Central vs Ozen The Beaumont Bowl will happen this week. Central is walking proudly after taking the bark out of the Bulldogs while Ozen saw a bright light at the end of the tunnel, but unfortunately it wasn't the light of more victories it was the light of an oncoming locomotive called the L-Train which railroaded any dreams the Panthers had of playoffs. Will Ozen spoil Central's season or will the Jaguars continue their march of victories onto the playoffs. Who will win? Check back Thursday for.... TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION Vidor vs LC-M Vidor travels down I-10 to take on the Bears after scalping the Indians at home last week. Will the Pirates be marching into a Bear boogie trap or will the Black Pearl continue to sail at full mast across the open seas? Who will win? Check back Thursday for.... TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION Lumberton vs PN-G Lumberton returns to the spot where they saw there chance of being named sole district champs slip away last year at the hands of the Indians. The Indians have lost their bows and arrows and tomahawks as they are in a severe losing streak. Will the Indians have a last stand at the Reservation or will the L-Train keep rolling over the opposition? Who will win? Check back Thursday for.... TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION GAME OF THE WEEK Livingston vs Nederland This game will be a dandy at Bulldog Stadium. The Bulldogs took a huge step backwards last week after the Jaguars gave them their first district loss. Now they finish the season with three tough games in which they need at least two wins to assure them of a playoff spot. Livingston continues to improve each week and has already made one successful trip to midcounty. Will the Lions keep on roaring or will the Bulldogs get their bite back? Who will win? Hopefully it's grammatically correct, there's a reason why I am a math teacher. The kids over here in Dayton really get into my predictions. I sure do miss playing you guys over in SE Texas.
