AggiesAreWe Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 is wo-s in D1 are D2. alo let me ask this of you in the know ,WHO will be the team to beat in each one of these DIV WOS will most likely be D2. Only way WOS goes D1 if Silsbee doesn't make the playoffs. Actually Bridge City has a higher enrollment than WOS but it doesn't look like they will make the playoffs. If you are talking about just region 3, then I would say in D1 it would be Navasota, D2 would be Gilmer.
DHS Grad 95 Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 I don't know which division they will be this year because 2 yrs. ago they were D2 and this past yr. they were D2, but the team to beat is Liberty Hill. Saw them last year make a mockery of Gilmer in the state championship. Never threw the ball once and beat Gilmer's "passing attack", if you want to call it that, 38-13. Liberty Hill is mixing it up this year with a little bit of a passing game here and there. They are on a 30+ win streak and don't seem to be letting up.

Liberty Hill is in Region 2 this year, I was only speaking of Region 3.
DHS Grad 95 Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 Skipper didn't specify if he meant the region or the state... I was answering for all of 3A. If he did mean just Region 3, then I agree with your answer.
Hotrodg Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 Concur that LH is the team to beat for a championship in D2.
skipper Posted October 23, 2008 Author Report Posted October 23, 2008 ok i goffed agan sorry about that forgive me,but i liked what you both put up.well if LH is that good looks like someone bedder do some home work soon dont you think.PS did LHs play eny state ranked teams this year just asking
DHS Grad 95 Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 Liberty Hill has beaten: Giddings 28-26 Abilene Wylie 28-25 Brownwood 56-49 All three of these teams have appeared on polls this season. Abilene Wylie is still ranked and Giddings is still getting votes. Brownwood has dropped of the map. The good thing for WOS is that 2 of these schools are Region 2 and Giddings is region 4.
