Perhaps a SHSU player is just as deserving...

Irina Sotnikova beat Gutierrez, who I believe was not 100% -- 6-2, 6-0 -- when the two played at SFA. Though, SHSU does not seem to be competing in the ITA Regionals. Not sure why any team does that..  ???

Wish I could see Sotnikova v Gutierrez I and Peta Taylor vs Gutierrez II later in the year...and then when they combine for doubles! That's some good tennis right there, best in SLC perhaps.

Kats beat them in doubles last year and got swept out in doubles in that dual, interested to see how Kats fare when singles count this year...and if they can repeat said success in doubles.
