dayton Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Trying to be 99% objective, but I know minus 1 or plus 1% I could be a little bit subjective ! Ok then -This Bronco team is so much fun to watch ,my gosh AJ.DUGAT, CODY GREEN -such talant that small highschool towns only dream about once in a blue moon.( not to mention all the other talanted supporting cast) Cowgirl I like your style -concise, condenesed and to the point! TO MUCH PURPLE in the inzone. ( just a plain fact ! ) I see this team jockying for D-11 state finals>>>> While Lake Travis & Longview breath a collective sigh of relief that they dont get to tangle with the likes of the Dayton BRONCOS !!!! ( YEAH-now thats the tickett ) Big teams with power run games are the only teams I've seen give Dayton's defense much trouble. I'm still leery since Dayton's defense lost 5 starters before the season to off-field stupid decisions. Still I would expect Dayton to put up about 34-40 and see if King can top it. Dayton has been getting better and better against the run. The passing teams give us bigger fits in my opinion. I think Dayton makes a defensive statement in this game. I don't see a shootout.
rollinac Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 It's really more teams that can do both. Friendswood is the only team I've seen in recent years that consistently has beaten Dayton's defense and it's because they have big lineman and a good power running game and they play action off of that well.
B.M.F. Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Wrong....Jacob Karam is the reason they have given us fits, before that it was Jaxson Appel. Friendswood never ran well against us they just gashed us with the pass.
Guest TravelingBandsman Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Dayton for as long as I went there and even still 2 years after, has not been good at defending against the pass. Any team that had a grade A passing quarterback and decent receivers ran all over us. It didn't help at all that Garret Gilbert of Austin Lake Travis was also a very mobile quarterback, I hope that guy plays for the Texans.
