2throwrundown Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Hmmmm, im predicting that the 6 teams will play each team twice, with the 3 best records advancing to the playoffs ;D
baseballjunkie Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 well bc lost all of their pitching from last year. i believe snyder is the only returning pitcher. im sure they'll still find ways to score plenty of runs, but will they win?? also silsbee lost 10 or so seniors last year and dont have hardly anybody returning other than their first baseman, so i don't predict them to make too much noise in this district.
GY55 Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 HF should be solid if they stay healthy and could make a strong run. Silsbee has some good young players coming up and should not be taken lightly. Bridge City, even without Hicks, knows how to win ball games. I don't know what the line-ups for OF or HJ look like this year, but both schools play great baseball. Hopefully WOS can shore up their line-up and make some noise.
bignasty69 Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 It will be... 1. OF 2. Silsbee 3. HJ or HF
hf#2 Posted October 28, 2008 Author Report Posted October 28, 2008 1- HF 2-BC or OF 3-OFor BC thats how it is going to be
Lazeek Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 HF moving on from football and flying directly past basketball to the diamond!!!!!!!! Guess they realize that they will NOT make the playoffs in either football or basketball!!!
Bringingheat3 Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 I think H-J will lock in a spot in playoffs this year even though we have lost alot of players from last year we will still have a solid team.
hf#2 Posted October 28, 2008 Author Report Posted October 28, 2008 or i just dont care for either of the two sports and HJ always has a good team so will c what happens
Lazeek Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Just giving you a hard time. I am not a HS baseball fan so I am not sure what HJ has coming back this spring.
HFHORNS Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 HF moving on from football and flying directly past basketball to the diamond!!!!!!!! Guess they realize that they will NOT make the playoffs in either football or basketball!!! Thats a given. It will be interesting to see how they do in baseball without Landry.
Guest A-TOWN Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 Anybody in this district has a shot to make the playoffs, no more Jasper in this district. im expecting a fight for the 21-3A title this year
Jasperfan Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 1. BC- experience and tradition prevail. 2. HF- They've been 1 step away for a couple of years 3. OF maybe- If Felts and Statum continue to play well and they play their cards right, they should be third.
commander Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 o yeah for sure this is goin to be one of the toughest districts i think anyone has a chance of makin the playoffs..it is just gonna come down to who is gonna work the hardest on doin that
mst990 Posted November 13, 2008 Report Posted November 13, 2008 yea i agree whoever is willing to put in the work an the effort will come out on top...everyone has to come together to pull out the disrtict crown.....bottom line...it will be a huge fight in 21-3a
Walk-off Posted November 19, 2008 Report Posted November 19, 2008 Now,since Hicks is back,B.C. looking good to win it all
baseballfan09 Posted November 19, 2008 Report Posted November 19, 2008 ya maby but he isnt God so just wait and See OF , HF and BC in my eyes all have a legit chance to win it all.
mst990 Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 bridge city may think they got this in the bag because there little super star hicks is back.. but he cant pitch every game can he...so who is backing him up thats a dominate pitcher??? so there in just as much of a fight as any other team in the disrtict.
Tallboi Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 bridge city may think they got this in the bag because there little super star hicks is back.. but he cant pitch every game can he...so who is backing him up thats a dominate pitcher??? so there in just as much of a fight as any other team in the disrtict. Synder, Cessac, and Hubbard will help Matt out trust me......and there's gonna be another Matt for those cards, Matt Menard. This kid is a stud. BC is a very talented team and should go undefeated in this district.
Ty Cobb Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 The distict, overall, will be down from the last few years. Bridge City is the favorite going in.
adminbaberuth Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 I look for WOS to be more competitive this year.Â
NHS83LU87 Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 It'll be competitive! I would favor Bridge City but Orangefield and Hamshire-Fannett have some good talent and Rojas at WOS is a pretty good coach. It won't be a cakewalk for any team.

Guest Orangeboy Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 Blake will most likely be counted on more. Mitchel will only be a freshman. BC also has another young lefty in Forest Zoch (Soph.) and Blake Snyder who will be fighting for one of the spots on the bump.
