dayton 2001 Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 I'm pretty much tired of hearing about how there lacking lacking lacking these kids are doing a great job out there....#50 Jordan Baxter #42 Chad Stapleton #21 Dillan Bethea and others that I'm not sure of there names have been doing a great job don't y'all think they deserve more positive talk than all the negativity??? I think that after this Friday night they will start getting the respect that they already deserve. You are right though, they have been pretty solid all year considering the injuries to Zack Crowder, Evan Brown, Aaron Jenkins. Fortunately we got Aaron back and Evan should be back Friday. Unfortunately we have lost Zack for the for-seeable future with the leg injury. Chad has really stepped in and stabilized the linebacker position allowing Tony Hill to go back to nose guard where he is at his best. I hope that Chad will continue to develop I think he can be big time for us down the stretch. Dillan is solid and a really good athlete. I think with Evan back we are gonna start seeing a really special defense possibly even equal to what we had last year. One more point of interest for this weekends game is that Dillan Bethea and Chad stapleton both grew-up and played football in the Sheldon district until 7-8th grade they both really seem to be shall we say excited to go back and play Alvester and crew. GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!!!
Mike George Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Here is a link to an article about the upcoming game between Dayton and C.E. King, but the main reason for linking it is because it identifies most of the defensive players and shows them in the fifth photo attached to the article.
