Their teams combined for a 9-3 overall record including a win over one of the state's top ten teams. That honor goes to the Waco Midway Panthers who after an opening loss to Alvarado, have reeled off 7 straight wins. Last Friday had to be the highlight of the year as they dominated previously undefeated and #9 Ennis. The Panthers piled up 273 rushing yards in the win and moved into the drivers seat in 16-4A with a 5-0 record. Ty Horn paved the way collecting 10 knockdowns and 5 pancakes.
