82 5A State Champs Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 825A nice comment from a moderator what are you talking about?
Bigdog Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Bellows was ejected from the game! Huh? I think the backup is in to just finish out the game.
82 5A State Champs Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Great game by the Bulldogs and Pirates. Good luck to the 'Dawgs in the playoffs.
YankeeDawg Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Yeah it was 825A...turned into a bit of a nailbiter...just the way a good game between 2 hard fighting teams should be.
Slick Willy76 Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Damn good game!!! We came up short. missed a few key plays.. few mistakes. interception.. but it was a good game
Bigdog Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 To the Vidor posters who were doubting Grogan. Do you believe now?? I think he broke 150+ yards and 2 tds.
Guest gladiator2 Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Good job Dogs! Keep proven the naysayer's wrong! I think next week's game will be a barnburner with the dogs on top!
adminbaberuth Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Jordan Landry makes a key stop on 4th and 1......Jimmy Swain clutch int on a play that I thought Vidor made a big boo boo, should have kept on ground instead of trick play........Asa was Asa on TD catches from some nice balls from Bellows, plus Asa made bone crunching block to free the Man on a 80 yard jaunt, Mr Grogan. For good measure, Wareall enters the game on defense and gets the the sack to close out the win. Vidor is solid.
vhs Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Congratulations to the Bulldogs on a great game and the trip to the playoffs. The Ned offense was just as awesome as everyone has been saying, and the defense was about as weak as most have stated. For the most part Vidor moved the ball very well against Ned, but just could not capitalize on opportunities. I was very impressed with Grogan, but I think I was more impressed with the Bellows/ Cardenas connection. Bellows is very impressive for such a young QB and Cardenas doesn't miss anything. Good Luck the rest of the way.
BMTSoulja1 Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Congrads, Bulldogs! I already got a rundown from James. Tighten that defense up and you'll be fine.
9Doggies Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Vidor knows how to do a homecoming, i would like to see a copy of that prayer on this site, heart warming.
vidor pirate Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 taking nothing away from nederland here yall played a great game but that was by far the worst reffed game i have ever seen in my life, bar none
Gtj007 Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 I agree! And most of the bad calls went against Nederland.
vidor pirate Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 I agree! And most of the bad calls went against Nederland. not true the refs gave yall the game we didnt even know what happened in the last 5 minutes or so it was so messed up the announcer didn't even know what was going on but yes i agree there were some terrible calls for nederland also imo those refs should never be used again
hurdleguy Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 all the darn bad calls went against vidor. i dont know what yall are saying went against nederlnd. those refs sucked that was worse than a little league game. weel no i have seen little league reffed better than that
Guest Pirate V Ball Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 Refs cost us at the end of the game when pass interference wasn't called, if that was called we win.
