dme1111 Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 who will Nederland, Lumberton, Livingston, and Central be playing?
Guest TravelingBandsman Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Dayton, C.E. King, Crosby, and North Forest
dme1111 Posted October 31, 2008 Author Report Posted October 31, 2008 who are the bigger schools? are the positions in the district still up for grabs, just trying to find out who Nederland will be playing
BMTSoulja1 Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Biggest to smallest... 1. NF 2. CE King 3. Crosby 4. Dayton
Guest TravelingBandsman Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 who are the bigger schools? are the positions in the district still up for grabs, just trying to find out who Nederland will be playing Division 1: Seed 1 - C.E. King Division 1: Seed 2 - North Forest Division 2: Seed 1 - Dayton Division 2: Seed 2 - Crosby I'm guessing that if Nederland finishes 4th, they'll be Division 1: Seed 2 for that district, so they would play C.E. King.
knightrider Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 i think north forest is the big school. got larger enrollment than the others. just below or right at 5-a level ???
BMTSoulja1 Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Livingston gets Dayton! We get NF!
dme1111 Posted October 31, 2008 Author Report Posted October 31, 2008 so its: Nederland vs. King = Nederland Dayton vs. Livingston = Dayton Central vs. North Forest = Central Lumberton vs. crosby = L-train
Guest TravelingBandsman Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 so its: Nederland vs. King = Nederland Dayton vs. Livingston = Dayton Central vs. North Forest = Central Lumberton vs. crosby = L-train Could be, personally I'm pulling for 19-4A teams but whatever.

Guest TravelingBandsman Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Livingston is tough. C.E. King was supposed to be tough.....not so much.
BMTSoulja1 Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Dayton fans, they have some strong RBs. They are a load. Just don't let #1, the QB, get in the open field. Other than that, you should be alright. Tell me about NF.
Guest Penny Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 I've heard CE King is not tough, not saying Dayton isn't good this year, but what quality teams have they played this year?
Guest Brubaker Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Lumberton could be playing for their playoff lives next week at Nederland. If Lumberton loses to Nederland and Livingston beats Vidor, then the L-Train will get their wish of a rematch with the Broncos.
Chorizo_11 Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 not sure bout livingston and vidor, but dogs will derail the train,,,broncos get ready for your rematch....also i think the lions put it on the pirates
rollinac Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Livingston is tough. Check last year's playoff score against the "tough" Livingston team.Â
rollinac Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 i think north forest is the big school. got larger enrollment than the others. just below or right at 5-a level ??? North Forest is the combination of two former 4a schools...Smiley and Forest Brook. They are allowed to stay 4a until the next reclassification but they're WAY over the 5a line.
JS Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 Is there any scenario that Dayton could get Lumberton?

Tell me about NF. NF has tons of speed, you have to clog up the holes and not let any body in there back field get in the open field or its gonna be 6 points and they run the option alot, they didnt even pass when dayton played them

PhatMack19 Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 Is there any scenario that Dayton could get Lumberton? If Lumberton loses and Livingston wins next week, Lumberton will play Dayton in the first round. Think we may hear about that 8-7 game a few times?
