Guest Jags Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 Livingston by 14. Vidor probably will be down now.
raideroldtimer Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 Come on Pirates, back us up, take Livingston Pirates by 7
EagleAG03 Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 Come on Pirates, back us up, take Livingston Pirates by 7 Raider, yall need to worry about tha Dawgs!! Should be a good game, good luck in that game.
Guest LR1969 Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 Would love to see Vidor end the season on a high note and whip the Lions. Not to mention the fact that should Lumberton beat Nederland, the Raiders would then win the District outright...But, I just don't see it happening. Livingston 38 Vidor 17
James Mosley Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 Seen both teams play, Vidor takes this one if they can contain the QB!!! Up to now not many have...Corrected my statement!!! Not many have stopped him.
Raider88 Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 Well the one blemish on Livingstons district record shows SOMEONE contained their QB. I think the Pirates will be up for this game!! Pirates by 7 points
9Doggies Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 14 to 13 livingston. It takes both teams a quarter to score, or maybe 40 to 14 livingston on 3 big plays by # 1 for Livingston.
OldPirateFan Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 Predictions? I think Vidor COULD do a great job against Livingston. I personally think that they should play Reynolds more. He is a harder runner than Pitman, although Pitman has the speed, Reynolds has the size to get through and get some good yards, he just runs players over, doesn't let anything get in his way. The coaches are holding him back by starting Pitman in front of him.
1motime Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 Love to see Vidor win this one ;D ......but the speed Livingston has is unreal
BMTSoulja1 Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 Livingston's speed didn't really impress me overall. If you can contain the Harris kid, you'll have done a lot. Livingston have just as much speed overall as Ozen.

Guest TravelingBandsman Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 This should be a great game overall. I think Livingston will get the upperhand at the end just because they come back from the dead so well in a game, but we'll see.
BIGMO44 Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 My prediction is Livingston by 14, BUT I'm pulling for the Pirates!!!
Guest Nederland Bulldogs Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 With Vidor knowing their out i just can't see them beating the Lions in Livingston.

Guest Nederland Bulldogs Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 Will Vidor bring a crowd to Livingston?
jake94 Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 Fair warning to Livingston fans. Nobody has beaten the Pirates all season, just ask their fans. After y'all beat them they will have either beaten themselves with their own miscues like fumbles, interceptions, or penalties or the refs screwed them. : With that being said, Livingston by 14 or more

He is a harder runner than Pitman, although Pitman has the speed, Reynolds has the size to get through and get some good yards, he just runs players over, doesn't let anything get in his way. The coaches are holding him back by starting Pitman in front of him. I could have sworn we rotated between Pitman, Reynolds and Peevey. Reynolds is big and bad, yes, but once we have that defensive front softened up by the middle of the third quarter, then you run Reynolds up their throat for four to five a carry. I like Pitman as the halfback because he is faster. Reynolds is a better fullback for the sure yardage. But that is just how I see it. And, as someone has said already, if we can contain Harris, Livingston's do it all player, we win. Their defense is porous and should play to our advantage if we come out strong early. We waited too long to get started against Nederland.
