rollinac Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 Never know what can happen with turnovers...that being said I expect North Shore to come out on top in a closer than expected game from reading the posts. NS - 34 WB - 31
Majestyk Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 This is a game NS should win, but if the Bruins pull it off my upper teeth will not fall out. These two teams are loaded with athletes and anything can happen. Just come out primed, stay healthy and get ready for the playoffs.
HJ-Hawks25 Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 I reallllllyyyyy want West Brook to pull of this win. Beaumont would go phsyco though. The whole area would.
westend1 Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 I've gotta say that I am shocked at how many people seem to be pulling for Brook. I thought we had mostly haters. Thanks for proving me wrong again SE Texas!!  Â

Baldwin88 Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 I have to say after being on the sildelines while shooting these kids, I am very impressed with the character that all of the Bruins show. Everyone of them is extremely respectful and courtious even during the game. It is very refreshing to see great young athletes who do not mimic their (Pro) mentors. Can't wait to see the Bruins rise to the occassion Friday night!!!!!!!!!!
KG03bruins7 Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 The guys who went for ns probably thought that New England would win the superbowl cant wait until friday go bruins ;D
LHSALLZONE Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 im thinking that westbrook can win this one, isnt this the reason our boys play the game. i watched the brook several times last season, including the playoffs, and i can say that with a little more fan base would help. fans make a big difference, especially on away games. put about 4 thousand fans in the stands & back this team, show them u have their backs, lets go. now reallity is north shore is tough, have the athletes, but look what happend last year in all class schools, its why u play the game. i dont think being a reallist, biased, optimist, ect from the fans will get it done ,but those young men probably think they can win, im hoping from lumberton this group of young men pulls one out go bruins :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o  Â

82 5A State Champs Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 Just so everyone knows, this game is suppose to be the Game of the Week for the Greater Houston area. It is considered a marquee game in several polls. It will be live on ESPN Radio 97.5 TheTicket, and a live internet feed on TSRN.com. Maybe those of you that cant make it to the game can tune in on either one of those sources and support the Bruins. We need all we can get!

So true--but I dont think the players will be able to see who is listening to the radio. Got put on clean underwear, fill up your cars, feed the kids and get to the stadium--before kick-off so your presence is seen as they run thru that dog gone multi thousand dollar blow up bear.
BMTSoulja1 Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 Strongly considering going to this game...
KFDM COOP Posted November 5, 2008 Author Report Posted November 5, 2008 That's just what i was going to ask you.
BMTSoulja1 Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 Don't know because I don't want the Brook fans think I'm changing sides. Real Jags still have a deep down hate the Brook! ;D ;D
KFDM COOP Posted November 5, 2008 Author Report Posted November 5, 2008 Aww throw on the red and blue and head over there.
BMTSoulja1 Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 You must want me to break out in hives wearing that red and blue mess!
PATexboy Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 I hope WB can give them a good game and pull off an upset. I think they will but then NS will come on strong with that killer instinct.
Bruin4Life Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 You must want me to break out in hives wearing that red and blue mess! haha i hope your not the only one who would sacrifice one week to come support the brook...it would be great to have a big setx showing
82 5A State Champs Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 www.buckinfootball.com is showing NS as a 21 point favorite in our game on Friday. I hope it's closer that that.....ALOT closer!
BudTugley Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 Do not underestimate the Bruins' talent. WB 28 NSÂ 21
KFDM COOP Posted November 6, 2008 Author Report Posted November 6, 2008 Region III-5A D-I: Deer Park vs. North Shore Friday (11/14) at 7 p.m. at Galena Park ISD Stadium
82 5A State Champs Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 I found this interesting. It would be nice to not have to see Katy in the third round, and it may happen. Mayde Creek and Seven Lakes are both favored in their 17-5A matchups this week. If both win, Katy will move up to the DI bracket, which could possibly put Katy in position to play Aldine Eisenhower in the second round -- if Katy beats Cinco Ranch. Thus leaving West Brook as the clear favorite in Div 2.
