luvdgame07
The Jasper Lady Bulldogs hosted scrimmages today. Silsbee, Leesville, and Hamshire - Fannett were there. Leesville got by Silsbee 41 - 35. This was a good game as both teams hit the floor for the first time this season. In a very fast pace game Jasper slips past HF 29 - 28. All the teams played good games. Are there any other scrimmages to report from today?

H-J is big inside and had outstanding guard play in their scrimmage with LCM. The first half was very close, but H-J blew it open down the stretch. The Hawks will punish many teams the season. LCM looked very much improved from the last few seasons. They matched up well with the Hawks and for a first outing showed promise in every phase of the game. They are loaded with seniors this season and hopefully can make a big push.

They are loaded with seniors this season and I think you will see this same scenario with the Lady Hawks a lot this season. If they don't have you way down at half time, give 'em another quarter - they will. The class of district 21-3A for 2008 - 2009.
