Guest GoStangs Posted August 20, 2006 Report Posted August 20, 2006 Just remembering a few things that were posted this past week about the WOS-BH scrimmage. Both teams have a few unanswered Offensive questions and with BH already having injury issues, it is a close one to call. I have to go with BH just because I think they have a better defense than WOS. Should be a good game. BH by 6 The BH better defense only allowed 33 points. Pretty impressive. first off, if its any scrimmage like i've seen, there won't be scores like 35-14. they won't be lining up to kick extra points after each touchdown. i see WOS scoring 2 or 3 times, but the BH defense will not just lay down and let WOS run at will. the offense is suspect, but the run game will be solid, and if we can get a quarterback in there that can handle the offense and make the reads, then BH will score a couple of times as well. don't see a blowout either way. Ouch... I think WOS is in for a suprise. Who was surprised tonight? So WOS posters how do you, like you crow, fried, baked, boiled, stewed, or in a gumbo? Mmmmmm taste like chicken. Hope you like chicken... the Hill will not be an easy task. The Hill is looking for someone to make an example of early for their step up to 4A and WOS might just be at the wrong place at the wrong time. It looked easy, but maybe that's the statement BH wanted to make, that way other teams will overlook them.
WOS95 Posted August 20, 2006 Report Posted August 20, 2006 how about this gem: Kelly Football wrote: West Orange has to many Athletes for Barber's Hill. Wes57 wrote: Your gonna be in for a shock if you believe that. I cant see WOS beating Barbers Hill. Just counting the first team squads the Eagles will win by probably 2 scores. Irish Madman wrote: Seriously, do you even know anything about the BH team this year? Obviously not. Dream on. We'll see how your offense feels on Sunday. to respond to how our offense will feel on Sunday? i think they'll be feeling pretty good 8)
WOS92 Posted August 20, 2006 Report Posted August 20, 2006 LOL. Good stuff. Not much of a test tonight, but hopefully the Vidor scrimmage will give us more to work on. Tackling was a bit of an issue here and there, as in the TD run, but otherwise a dominating performance. The score was closer than the game. It looked QUITE easy and the outcome never seemed to be in question. BH looked lost all night. Bless their hearts. They must have been reading Jody's "musings."
Guest GoStangs Posted August 20, 2006 Report Posted August 20, 2006 I'm just hoping the Vidor scrimmage will give WOS something to work on -- this one surely didn't.
