football fan34 Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 anybody no where this game is gunna be played at
slick74 Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 anybody no where this game is gunna be played at Humbles turner field. I don't understand why there though. 90 mile drive for lumberton about 18 - 20 miles for crosby? Should have played at Barbers hill. Just my opinion!!!!
football fan34 Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 i was told the lumberton smiley game last year played at the hill didnt have enouth seating
slick74 Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 i was told the lumberton smiley game last year played at the hill didnt have enouth seating Both stadiums have about the same # of seats around 10,000 . Crosby would still have only a 20 mile drive but lumberton would only have about 45 - 50
football fan34 Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 alright shoot how bout we go play this in cy fairs stadium the switzer center or something like that

piratesplayer2 Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 dont know crosby, but if there is one team I have a huge amount of respect for is Lumberton. so i hope Lumberton goes far but the Vidor Pirates wont fall short of the playoffs next year thats for sure. GOOD LUCK to the L-Train
football fan34 Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 ya to bad y'all want be able to strap it up against them again and give two tough losses to them
TradinUp BH Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 We beat Crosby, so I will say say Ltrain by17 points, LHS 27 Crosby 10 All aboard, ding, ding Choo Choo
7mary3 Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 Lumberton shouldn't have a problem with this one. Crosby is horrible and way overrated. They've got a good qb and a decent rb, thats it. Seems to me the central location would be Conroe. Either way there are plenty of places to eat in Humble.
HoosierDaddy Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 Crosby runs a traditional spread. Watch for the TE seam. They will sneak him out there a few times. They have some athletes, but not enough of them. Lots of zone reads and they will try to use their speed to beat you outside. I don't think they are overrated by any means. But, they are prone to turnovers as a previous poster stated. They have one receiver that has some jets. Safeties need to keep him in front. The underlying story to this game is the fact the Crosby's coach is one of Lumberton's all-time greatest athletes. Kevin Flanigan was one heck of an athlete when he went to Lumberton. It will be interesting to see how this game unfolds.
