Razor08 Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 Jacob Hanna had a monster game against BIG NED with 337 yards rushing on 33 carrys! 4 TDS!! 10.2 yard avg! CONGRATS!!! :o
football fan34 Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 the Hanna kid is very versatile back got a future
bojangles Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 The entire Raider squad plays with heart and determination, its obvious throughout the game. Its amazing what Credeur has been able to do in his short tenure at Lumberton. As for individual efforts, Hanna is a stud. he doesnt leave the field (RB, DE, Punter, and KR) Wish there were more like him
Guest Its_All_About_Tha_U Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 I think he has made his case for District 20-4A MVP. He plays TB, FB, Punter, DE, some MLB tonight and KR & PR. He's a complete football player and deserves this award.
LHSALLZONE Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 big jake out shinned them all. young man is a stud & plays with a big heart, congrats jake & all them raiders. district champs baby ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D :o :o :o :o : : : : : : : : :
eastex Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 Congrats to Hanna. Sounds like one heck of a performance.
Gabe Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 I don't get to see Lumberton too often being as I work in Orange. I saw Jacob his sophomore year and was impressed then. When Hussey was getting all the carries last year I kept thinking "where is the hanna guy?" Now don't get me wrong I saw why Hussey ran so much - Willie Ray Smith says it all. Hanna's season does not surprise me one bit. Even from the little I get to see him he always impressed me. Great running back, Lumberton has a good one. Good luck to him and the Raiders down the road.
baseball_1989 Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 Congrats to Hanna on the awesome game. I look forward to Lumberton making a strong run in the playoffs.
gdickert Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 How about a quick shot of Hanna doing his thing in Nederland? :-)
MikeEast Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 I know Jacob is really good at what he does, but this is no big surprise. Nederlands defense has been poor all year and everytime they meet a decent back this is the outcome. Big congrats on the seasons outcome!!!
PhatMack19 Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 I was just as impressed with his punting as his running. The few times he did have to punt, he boomed a few very high punts over 50 yards in the air.
Guest Its_All_About_Tha_U Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 Let's not forget the O-Line too for dominating and creating some running room. Great job Jake.
Guest LR1969 Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 Hanna is an awesome player...period! Hussey was a great player but I knew Jacob would step right in and fill his shoes when he left. I've watched him play since his Sophomore year and he's only gotten better. And, his punting is phenomenal. I don't know how many times he's punted the opponent up against a wall but he manages to do so just about every game.
Razor08 Posted November 8, 2008 Author Report Posted November 8, 2008 4 Punts Punting Yards-163 Punting Average-40.75 **One of his punts he punted from the other 40 and went out of the endzone. Another punt from the 45 he landed it inside the 5! Great job
Guest etbu Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 Is he the one that was hurt last week? Listen to the game on the way home from ours last night what a HOSS.
Duke Basketball Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 Great job by Hannah, but I'd like to recognize the OL as well. I noticed that Murrell and Howden were both on the left side of the ball at one point (not sure if it's usually like that or not), and said to my friend, "Hey, I bet they go left, and Nederland doesn't stand a chance in stopping it.." Sure enough, ..touchdown.
Duke Basketball Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 Is he the one that was hurt last week? Listen to the game on the way home from ours last night what a HOSS. No, that's Anthony Beard. Basically a stronger version of Hannah that 20-4A gets to attempt to slow down for another season next year.
Guest etbu Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 Gonna have to check out Lumberton out next year.

Guest band of brothers Posted November 9, 2008 Report Posted November 9, 2008 any word on who may be looking @ jacob? Lamar would be a cool deal for him, I would like to see more local talent stay local, not trying to sound stingy, I just enjoy watching these guys play! but wherever he goes best of luck!
Roughrider Posted November 9, 2008 Report Posted November 9, 2008 No offence to Hanna, he is a fine athlete but Nederland's defense makes most running backs look like Division 1 prospects.
Proud to be a Raider Posted November 9, 2008 Report Posted November 9, 2008 You cannot beat Big J but he has a lot of help with our D line....there are several guys on D-line that deserve some attention as well. J is going to have a great future where ever he decides to go, and there are a lot of choices.
