I dont think i would consider CC over Kirbyville that much of an upset, I really wouldnt consider it the upset of the year!  But I do believe that CC better bring all they got to the table or they will find out why Kville is ranked #1 by most in the state.

Talking to someone last night about the Newton/CC game.  He said that CC came to play that game, but after the Newton/Kville game; that Kville is much stronger!  CC would have to play Kville tougher than Newton did last night to beat Kville, being that Newton played a much better game against Kville than they did vs CC!  Wasn't the score of the Newton/CC game like 26-20?  Kville's offense is too prolific for CC to handle!  Have looked at their stats and all they seem to do is run, and we all know how strong Kville's run D is!  Here's a link to look at their score that have been turned into this site.  Give's you a little something to think about.

My understanding is that the CC brass decided they didn't want to play on Thur. after they had agreed.

i might be wrong but I thought it had something to do with Woodville losing and not making the playoffs.  I thought since they was not playing on friday it freed up the staff to make the field available on friday instead of thursday and it was changed.

That is 50% right, but CC make their decision before the whole Woodville making the playoffs thing.  Woodville would've had to win by 17 over SA to make the playoffs

OMG..lets just hope not!!! I looked at Texas Prep Insider at CC's past games, and they played Crocket and the score was only 12-7. Now I dont know how much weight to put on that game..but we beat Crocket 39-6. I am hoping by looking at the scores and the teams that CC has beaten, I think Kville will take this game no problem. Dont get me wrong..I do think CC will come ready to play, but so will Kville! We are going for the UNDEFEATED SEASON ;D
