Indian Fan Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 I have never said that Cleveland wouldn't be tested Genius! I know as well as anyone, any team can win on any given night. I also know that Cleveland will face some strong teams in the playoffs. But I also know that, if you haven't followed this group of boys over the years and every game this season, you really can't see it! Anyway fire back on me, with all of your knowledge or the weak district or your definition containment, oh and let's not forget that you now try to guess peoples ages, like that really matters. P.S. IMO,If your D can't move fast enough to get in front of something or in posistion, then they can contain it! Speed wins!
bdll Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 Where and when is this game going to take place? Thanks in advance.
ncplaya Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 ya but clevelands district isnt as hard as our district i bet weve could have gone 9-0 in their district. i bet wos and silsbee would have beat the crap out of them to like they did us but that dont matter both teams have gotten better and now that its the playoffs the records for both teams are 0-0 so it gonna be a good game and will be close most likely so good luck to both teams and GO HAWKS How would you have gone 9-0 if Cleveland beat you?Â
Guest wos84 Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 its about angles not so much speed have you ever heard of persuit angles????
Indian Fan Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 I totally understand, that's not really the point I was trying to make, but who really cares! I'm sure HJ will come out ready to play and I know Cleveland will. like I said before anything can happen on Friday night! I look forward to a good game and maybe some good nachos. Good luck HJ! Keep it Rollin Tribe!

Did you forget HJ has already lost to Cleveland? And they would lose to Coldspring and oh Huffman, too.
Socrates Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 In years past, the district comparison was true. Not so much this year. You guys lost Jasper and Kirbyville and that took a lot of the sting out of your district. Props to WOS, but the dominance of previous years is lacking from the other teams in the district.
B Box Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 havent really been able to see either team but Im pulling for H-J. and not saying its not true but the idea of cleavland being faster than HJ seems unreal but im sure its possible..If for nothing else i hope you beat'em hawks just to shut TLU dawg up..
Guest Indian Chief Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 Cleveland will be to much!
Guest luke tha drifter Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 ya'll leave TLU dawg alone....he is just rooting for his big bro...............Cleveland has one of the best defenses I have seen in a long time, and whoever said they have no depth needs to check into rehab, cause you are high. Cleveland rotates 6 different running backs, and you can't tell the difference from one to another....I would say they have a "stable of runningbacks". It is going to be nice to see cleveland show SE Texas that they belong Cleveland 35 HJ 6
HJ-Hawks25 Posted November 12, 2008 Author Report Posted November 12, 2008 There is no way the score can be worse than what it was the first time these two teams matched up. However HJ's offense is much improved from the first time these two teams matched up. It'll be a lower scoring game. Not many big plays

Lazeek Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 I wish HJ all the luck but I don't see the outcome being much different than the first time. Both teams have improved I am sure and Cleveland seems to be clicking on all cylinders right now. No prediction of score from me but I expect Cleveland to win fairly easily. Hope that I am wrong though, although hoop season is here!!! ;D ;D
HJ-Hawks25 Posted November 12, 2008 Author Report Posted November 12, 2008 heh. I saw the other posts of like 35 being put up on HJ. I really doubt it. I was meaning it'll be lower than that. Like both teams being close. But, of course, HJ on top 8)
Lazeek Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 Hope I am wrong!!!! If not then the hoop boys can get to practice and start worrying about the round orange ball!!!! ;D ;D ;D

Lazeek Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 Lazeek are you going to the game? Can't make it this time. :-\ :-\ :-\

Do those kids at HJ know how to use that thing? hah just kidding 8) . Well I know I'll be seeing you at the game when the round orange ball is used.
Lazeek Posted November 13, 2008 Report Posted November 13, 2008 I will be sitting by fat arse on the front row next to Poppabearstar!!!!
indian15/16 Posted November 13, 2008 Report Posted November 13, 2008 Had a quick stint out of town so missed some opportunities to trade the trash talk. Back now and ready to go. Can't wait for Friday night lights C-town vs H-J. I think I cleared the gray area on how this game goes before I left town. Little recap with small revise: H-J from what I hear improved some on the defensive side of the ball but I can't get to nervous because they gave up 40+ to WOS and Silsbee. WOS may have speed to match Ctown but Silsbee does not. Saw a comment doubting that Ctown could be faster than H-J. Not only faster than H-J, but quite possibly one of the fastest teams in the 3A playoff scene. H-J fans pointed to the five turnovers in game one; well it was four and Cleveland had two in the game. The starters for Cleveland left that game half way through the third quarter. Cleveland wins this game and I hope by a ton. Send a message and keep the mo going.

Do you have silsbee's 40 times or something? I don't see how you can make that statement since you have no idea. That's like me saying cleveland is not even close to one of the fastest teams in the playoff scene. See, i can do it too.

WOS and Silsbee have tons of athletes and quickness on both sides of the ball. By far the most that HJ has seen all year!!!! Not taking anything away from Cleveland but WOS and Silsbee are very deep with athletes on both sides.
