Let's shoot for October some time. The water temperature should drop some by then and the biger fish usually start feeding following the Summer schoolies.

Would you be up for a trip to Choke Canyon? It's about a 4 to 4-1/2 hour drive from Barbers Hill home fo the Fighting Eagles...... Choke has some BIG fish in it and usually produces a pretty good fish or two.

If not we always have Boomtown in Vidor, assuming you still have that Pirate outfit......
