If they can get two of the three, i imagine they'll cakewalk into the playoffs next year.

Guest Orangeboy
The Phillies have agreed to a three-year contract with free-agent outfielder Raul Ibanez, pending a physical. The deal is believed to be worth $30 million over three years. The 36-year-old Ibanez will become the Phillies' new everyday leftfielder, and his signing means the Phillies no longer will pursue their longtime leftfielder, Pat Burrell, who is also a free agent. Guest Orangeboy
Free-agent reliever Brian Fuentes and the Angels reached agreement on a two-year, $17.5 million deal Wednesday, giving the AL West champions a replacement for record-setting closer Francisco Rodriguez. "He should solidify the back part of our bullpen," Angels general manager Tony Reagins said on a conference call. "We pitched well last year, we expect to pitch well again." Fuentes, a 33-year-old lefty, was a three-time NL All-Star who went 1-5 with 30 saves in 34 chances and a 2.73 ERA for Colorado this season. He had a 1.75 ERA after the All-Star break, when he saved 16 games in as many chances.
Guest Orangeboy
The Indians acquired versatile infielder Mark DeRosa to play third base on Wednesday, trading three minor leaguers to the Cubs. They dealt pitchers Jeff Stevens, Chris Archer and John Gaub for DeRosa, who played six different positions for the NL Central champions. In Cleveland, he'll be the club's everyday third baseman and fill in occasionally in the outfield. "We're going to take advantage of his versatility," Indians general manager Mark Shapiro said. Following Mark DeRosa's trade to the Indians on Wednesday, Mike Fontenot will likely open spring training as the favorite to start at second base for the Cubs.
