bkatdog Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 Vidor shoud do well this year. The top of the lineup hit hard in Jasper during fall ball and a lot of the up and comers are playing all year long. When the football players get back they should be good.
EAGLE07 Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 Vidor Should win all or most of the games that Trae Hester pitches.
pirate68 Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 Vidor Should win all or most of the games that Trae Hester pitches. Trae will be the ace and Sims is above average.Vidor should be solid.I think it will be Vidor,Ned,Png,Lcm in the playoffs in no particular order.Any of these teams are capable of winning the district title in my opinion.

bojofootball Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 LCM! LCM! LCM! LCM! LCM! LCM! LCM! LCM! LCM!
rabbit ears Posted December 10, 2008 Report Posted December 10, 2008 LCM & PNG should be the teams to beat.
espn2 Posted December 10, 2008 Report Posted December 10, 2008 OK. BOJOFB her is you a why not. As discussed before "Pitching" PNG-Benoit, Spikes and others Vidor-Hester, Simms and others Nederland-Belows, Dean and many others LCM has the same group they had last year that finished tied for fourth. Which is where I see them finishing this year. There has been much hype around this group at LCM for a while, but I haven't seen them accomplish much yet. Time will tell but I wouldn't put them in with PNG, Nederland, and Vidor this year until they prove it. But remember 4 teams go to the playoffs this year.
allstate56 Posted December 10, 2008 Report Posted December 10, 2008 good post espn. The same 3 or 4 names have been thrown around at LCM for three years now. not much damage being done on the mound at gibbens these days..
rabbit ears Posted December 10, 2008 Report Posted December 10, 2008 I agree with ESPN2 to a point. PNG will win it. I will take LCM 2nd based on everyone coming back. Nederland, then Vidor. All four get in and they will play for a good long while in the playoffs. They will be the ones knocking each other out. It's an excellent district. 18AAA is another tough one!
Guest Bearball18 Posted December 11, 2008 Report Posted December 11, 2008 yal dont understand. lcm finished 3rd last year and they have most of there linup back. the pitchers have gotten better over the offseason from what ive heard. i see them possibaly at the top at the end of the year
bojofootball Posted December 11, 2008 Report Posted December 11, 2008 ahhh okk. i'm sure we'll be fine. Hopefully some of the underclassmen can step up and fill the spots needed to be filled.
Guest hoops12 Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 i say... PN-G wins the district title (Spikes Benoit Sweetnham and Woods on the mound) Vidor in second (Hester and Simms) Nederland in third (if they play the way they are capable) (Bellow Dean Vidrine leading the way) LCM following up fourth (Nederland and LCM could be flipped depending on what kind of Pitching LCM comes up with) (Brown Leger Barry and Cloren)
stud Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 i read on another post that waddell is likely the ace at lcm... is he not on the same level as hester and bellows are?
Guest LCM Volleyball Posted January 8, 2009 Report Posted January 8, 2009 i read on another post that waddell is likely the ace at lcm... is he not on the same level as hester and bellows are? He's good!
BudTugley Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 LCM (Shane Waddell) , PNG (Chris Sweetnam) , Nederland (Kirby Bellow) and Vidor (Trae Hester) all have an outstanding Junior to anchor their staffs. But in my opinion, Trae Hester is just on a different level.
Guest thefan Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 Shane Waddell will make a big difference this year on the LC-M pitching staff that is much improved! I hope everyone keeps doubting the talent this team has. Some should be careful what they say, this district is always full of surprises.

portnechesgrovesbaseball Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 png, nederland, vidor, lcm in this particular order....
PURPLE 4EVER Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 What grade level are the kids from Groves that almost made it to the Little League Wold Series? Will be interesting to see how they have an impact on the varsity level.
PURPLE 4EVER Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 They are freshman this year. Will any of them make varsity?
