dsylv2010 Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 Texas is all about high school football... But which area is the best?
Hawkeye Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 I saw a map on the internet a couple of years ago(can't remember where), it had a red dot in the area of the country that all current NFL players were from. The triangle area had the most red dots. Actually the I-10 corridor from Houston to Florida was littered with dots. But as far as HS teams go, I would have to say DFW also.

Guest Jags Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 Dallas area, especially the last few years.
cowgirl 59 Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 Dallas area gets my vote:They get lots of media attention -sportswriters galore. They put out alot more dollars into atheletic facilities than this area.
Guest LR1969 Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 Guess someone will have to do a little more research. We can all throw out a name or two from any region of Texas but, statistically (or more appropriately, on a per capita basis since we don't have near the population of the DFW/Houston areas) I don't think any of us can say for sure without a little research. WOS87, where are you???
