Great Game Kirbyville...tough time with slick surface!! RB kept slipping down.  Had a couple of fumbles that hurt us. But for the most part we had a great game. I do need to say this...WAY TO FIGHT WILDCATS!!!! CC came to play and they were a good team. Hats off to those guys. They played a great game. Great sportsmanship and great fan support!!!

My only wish is that we could get alittle more rowdy in our stands!!! Also, whats up with our band? We were home team and I barely heard our band all night. CC band never quit playing all night.  It wasnt until the last 2 min of the ball game did they start really playing. This is rediculous!!! The band gets the fans pumped up, which in turn rally's the players...we all work together..LOL Come on!!!! Its not good for our boys to look up in the stand and see a stale crowd...its time we do something about this!!!

I just got back from the game.  Kirbyville did have several unforced turnovers and made several mental mistakes.  CC did a great job of controlling the clock and keeping the Cat offense off the field the first half and I think that helped to keep the Cats out of rythem.  Kville seemed to get things going again in the second half and played alot better.  I agree it seemed everything was a little stale, but I think that everyone was still recovering from the emotional game the week before at Newton.  Like you said it seemed that not only did the wildcats wake up in the second half but so did the band and the crowd.  I think things are back on track now and they are more than ready for Anahuac.

Yea last weeks game was very emotional..but we owe to those kids to show support by cheering them on regardless!!! STAND UP AND BE HEARD KVILLE!!!!! It was awesome to hear all the noise when the boys came out on the field tonight. I would have loved to have been on the other side just to be able to listen. It gets the adrenaline pumping! In a 4th and 1 situation..the 12th man truly does help. LOL

I wanna also tell everyone that no one has any right to complain about the broadcasting this week.  These guys was put on top of the press box while everyone else was sitting inside comfortablly.  I watched these guys the whole second half grabbing equipment, moving equipment, and fighting with headsets because of the cold high wind the whole time.  I have no ideal what the broadcast was like because obviously i was at the game and did not listen to them but im telling you if you heard anything the second half than be thankful.  I just want to Say Thanks for the hard work and dedication you put into getting the broadcast out.  You guys were awesome tonight!!

Exactly..they were not sitting in the warm comfortable press box, but on top..outside...in the cold..and it was very windy.
