Bucof2010 Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 Amazing job. Sounds like Big Ned has a very bright future.
dme1111 Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 WHAT AN AWESOME GAME!!!! NEDERLAND FANS REALLY SHOWED UP TONIGHT. JUST LIKE OLD TIMES. WE MADE SOME NOISE. All I can say is that I am very proud of the dogs for digging deep with three big weapons out.
Guest Brubaker Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 Brady was on crutches, looked pretty bad don't know if it was knee or ankle. Kirby's most likely out next week based on the report of a sprained mcl and how ginger he was on it. For all you Bulldog fans, did what Tyler Smith did tonight remind ya'll of what Barbay did that year.... then went onto win the next game in the Dome as well... omen? Kid can throw the football. And... he was throwing it to fellow soph Schlett.... we've been talking about this sophomore classs being special and now we saw a glimpse of it.

adminbaberuth Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 It's late, just got home. Hell of a game. Grogan was a monster early, then his double Lovelady laid it all out for the Dogs. CE King was a pretty good football team. Smith did a heck of job at QB, look to me the receivers set up like a catcher and Smith threw fastballs at them. Trahan boom some kick offs that were out of site.
BMTSoulja1 Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 You proved me wrong, 'Dogs! Even with several key players hurt, you still pull out the win. So proud of yall!
Razor Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 These kids played with amazing grit tonight..great win with the odds stacked against them big time...no one picked Nederland to win, you basically spot them 2 early TDs after turnovers, and you suffer three huge key injuries during the game and still win...great to see the sophs step up like they did and grant lovelady ran very well when grogan was battling injury...despite what the number would tell you, this defense stepped up tonight and made key stops when they had to. Way to pull this one out Dogs!! Great effort and great win...looking forward to next week against Magnolia...also definitely wish for speedy recoveries for bellow, brady, and grogan.
raid07 Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 Good job dogs, great win tonight and good luck next week.
NedDog Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 What a game! I haven't been able to make many this season, but last night was definitely one for the ages! [move]Way to go Dogs!![/move]
MikeEast Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 Awesome Dogs.. I may have to stay home next week so I dont jinx the team ???
prepballfan Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 Coach LN putting his young players in a position to win when it counts again and again and again. What a great coach. Once again GREAT JOB Nederland there are alot of happy Indian fans happy tonight
Bulldog1985 Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 Great job dogs! Tyler smith looked great as well as the other underclassmen that were brought up from the JV. Key drive Tyler looked like he has played on Friday night all year. Great Job to the entire team and coaches.
82 5A State Champs Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 Way to go DAWGS! Awesome way to win, with a backup QB and all. The GT is very proud of you guys! Good luck next week!
Guest Its_All_About_Tha_U Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 Congrats Big Ned on a great win. Good luck next week and represent 20-4A well. I'm pulling for U.
PNG Proud Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 Congrats Dogs. Sounds like quite a thriller. Dave Campbell's wrong already.... I love it.
YankeeDawg Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 Congrats Dogs. Sounds like quite a thriller. Dave Campbell's wrong already.... I love it. Hey Proud..yeah it was a friggin thriller right down to the last seconds (from what I hear-lol). Almost had me another stroke and I didn't even go to the game (having some minor problems driving any distance due to medications). I listened to it on the computer...well right until KLVI canned it at 10PM. LOL...but yeah it was a great game and a great win, especially with all the underclassmen in there. Thanks for your support man. ;D
Guest 87CRU79 Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 Backups/underclassmen really stepped it up last night! Gameball(s) have to go to Wareall and Tyler Smith! Smith looked calm, cool, and collected while orchestrating that drive to put us ahead. Reminded of Barbay back in the day! Schlett made some clutch catches, and Adams (Mr. Dynamite in a Small Package) was FEARLESS when he would go in for the hit. DBs have really been arm tackling the last 5 years or so, but he had a nose for the ball and wasnt scared to lay a lick on big 34. Congrats on a great team win boys!
The Icon Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 Good job boys! Great TEAM win! Smith looked like Cool Hand Luke at the helm, Schlett made some clutch catches, and Adams was in on almost every tackle. Thats a way to step it up! Hope Brady and Bellow get well soon
purplepride Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 WOW! GO BIG NED! CONGRATS TO YOU! GOOD LUCK ON YOUR NEXT GAME! GO BRONCOS! ;D
Roughrider Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 Big win for the Dogs. Very exiting game. I credit the Defense for coming up with some big plays. I know I have been critical of them on this message board but they played much better tonight. Great job by the Soph's for stepping up. Tyler Smith looked real good. Good luck next week.
C4hotwired5780 Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 tdog the destroyer, aka tanner adams breaks through the line during the critical failed 2 point conversion attempt by King and drags the play out so Cardenas can hit him out of bounds. Way to go into beast mode dogs. Next week, make em feel that ground.
Razor Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 I think what you saw last friday night was a sneak peek of things to come for Nederland in the not too distant future...the talent pool in grades 10, 9, and 8 is going to produce some very solid Nederland teams.
Guest Brubaker Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 Very solid is a disgusting understatement and you know it Razor, these grades are LOOOOOAAADED, that's my Ron Walker imitation for the night.
