setxslam Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 A few thoughts from last night's debacle: I love AB, who had more points & as many rebounds as Yao, but he's more of a 2 than a 1. He's more effective as a scoring 1 when BB is running the 2 alongside him-- spaces the floor better and lets AB operate. Von Wafer is hitting 100% of his threes. Play him. Luther's done. Poor Luther has a habit of committing a turnover within one second of entering games. T-Mac needs to sit out and rehab for a while, like maybe the rest of his life. His vertical is horizontal. It's painful to watch him playing like this. Come back, Shane! Maybe Shane will help our spacing & ball & player movement, be the missing ingredient, get us going on a streak... I hope. We'd better D up and get some transition buckets, because our set offense is offering up exactly that for the other team. Coach Adelman better get these guys to buy into his system soon, or find something else that works. Like, get the ball to Yao and get back!
