KFDM COOP Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 New game time....7:30 instead of 7.
skipper Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 can we take hw 90 out of beaumont, then hit hw 1960 all the way to hw 249 this will take me to the woodlands i hope ,let me know
Gasilla Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 Yes, you will need to take a right on I-45 from there instead of a left when going thru Conroe.
Majestyk Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 Once on 1960 take the Hardy Toll Road which comes out on I45 at The Woodlands. May cost you $2.
GUNHO Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 These routs will take you about 3hrs 25 min.If you go I-10 to Houston and take 610N to I-45N towards conroe it will take about 2hrs 25min.This is according to map quest.Don't know what kind of traffic that you would encounter going the Houston route though.Haven't made my mind up yet.
Majestyk Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 From 610 to Woodlands on I45 north aint nothing nice on Friday evening, take 90 out of Beaumont to 1960 then take Hardy toll road between I 59 and I 45 at Humble, comes out at The Woodlands, done it many times, 2 hrs. 20 mins.

speveto Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 I WANT ALL OF YOU TO TAKE "I-10" OR "90" SO I CAN HAVE "105" ALL TO MY-SELF. I`LL SEE ALL OF YOU WHEN YOU GET THERE AT HALF-TIME.
WOS87 Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 Having been living here in Houston for over 20 years... you do NOT want to come anywhere near the 610 loop or I-45 (south of the Woodlands) on a Friday afternoon.
skipper Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 i agree with both of you dang i am glad i am not going to be driveing hint hint speveto

Very good point and one I had not thought of. I'll be heading 105 to Conroe. Gunho, 610 is about 15 years to old of a route. These days, if you're going to take I-10 to go anywhere North of Houston, you need to take the Beltway North (or south if heading somewhere South) in Channelview. Unless you are going somewhere actually on the Loop, it is a dead route.
MrUmp1 Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 I'm going to take hwy 105 to Cleveland, go south on 59 and take 242 over to 45 which will put me just north of the stadium. No way I go anywhere close to Houston. Skipper.. have you ever driven 1960 on Friday afternoon or 249 ??? I have and it will be a red light nitemare.
MrUmp1 Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 you should not doubt the Ump when he makes the call Coop lol BTW nice tie tonight lol
skipper Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 no i have not been that way before ,lol and dont think i will this time i dont like red lights smiles
MrUmp1 Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 I may need to provide a guide service LOL everybody meet me at Market Basket 105 and 69 about uh uh uh 4 o' clock and follow the pied piper ump
VP93.... Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 WOS should not be worried about who they play if they beat Caldwell over looking a team in the playoffs could cost you. Just ask Lumberton. WOS by 20...
Gasilla Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 The WOS football team and coaches will not overlook Caldwell, I assure you.
LB76 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Who was it that knocked WOS out of the playoffs last year? Can't remember, was it Giddings?
