WORLD youth FOOTBALL LEAGUE (WYFL)

The World Football League has decided to develop a select youth football program to go along with the Pro program. Each WFL team will have select youth football teams in there city that will wear the same uniform and helmet and travel with the team and play the same teams that the Pro teams play. This is something that has never been done before and the WFL is taking the lead. This coming year will be a test year so we will only have a select team with the 9 and 10 yr old age group. Try outs will be in April and a press and media release will be sent out after the first of the year. Make no mistake, this is not the regular youth program or pop warner football. This is select football, the best of the best and travel will be involved. More details to come later.

Im sure that will come as well, but the season will run with ours which starts the 2nd week of may. I believe the community and the parents are going to like what we have planned, and honestly every practice we be like a camp. One of our policies is that the WFL team players have to help coach.

Plans are now to have all 4 age groups with select football next year. 7-8 yr olds, 9-10 yr olds, 11-12 yr olds and 13-14 yr olds. Still putting together more information. I will pass it on as soon as I get it. WFL Youth 3 day Combine is still scheduled for April.
