Who would have thought the mighty L-Train getting derailed by a third place team, the Bulldogs getting a kick off return and a 90 plus yard run to propel them to a 1 point victory, and the mighty Jaguar defense posting a very impressive bidistrict shutout! On top of all this, the Livingston Lions give the Broncos all they could handle. A horrible week in predicting this week from Toups Graphics, only one out of four games correctly predicted. Finally 19-4A teams advance past the first round in over three years. The Cougars and Broncos victories result in a 2 and 2 split with 20-4A. Congratulations to the Cougars, Bulldogs, Jaguars, and Broncos for going into the Area Round of the playoffs. The Result Summaries are below.

DAYTON VS LIVINGSTON

What an unbelievable game. Dayton had eight possessions, punted on their first possession, had a fumble while going into the score on their third possession, and other than that rang up a touchdown on the other six. They needed every single one of the touchdowns as the Livingston Lions ran an AWEsome quick dive ground game between the tackles straight at the Bronco defense. The game was sealed on a Lion's 4th down play with five minutes left. An errant pass was intercepted and the Broncos cashed in for a quick TD to go up by two touchdowns. Congrats to the Lions for an unbelievable season. Kind of strange, but both cochamps of 20-4A go down in the bi-district round of the playoffs. The Broncos good fortunes continued after the game as a correctly called coin toss results in a Broncos HOME GAME in the Area round of the playoffs agains Elgin.

The score heard around the state, Crosby, 19-4A's 3rd place team, knocks out the 20-4A cochamps. The L-Train's playoff run never materializes as too many mistakes and a fired up Cougar team derail the Raiders' season. Train wrecks are ugly and this game will leave a bitter taste for Raiders fans. Cograts to the Raiders on a great season that only featured two losses. Good luck to the Cougars. A great bi-district win results in a 19-4A and 20-4A split. The playoff highway doesn't get any easier next week as the Cougars take on Brenham.

CE KING VS NEDERLAND

After I thought going into this game that the Bulldogs would need at least five touchdowns to outscore CE King. They got just that to get an unbelievable bi-district victroy. 20-4A's 4th place team knocks out CE King in a thriller at Bronco Stadium. The Bulldogs got huge scores on a kick off return and a 90 plus yard to propel them to victory. The Bulldogs advance to the area round and next week they play Magnolia in Conroe.

THE TOUPS GRAPHICS DON'T MISS SPECIAL PLAYOFF GAME OF THE WEEK...

Has your team been ousted from the playoff's. This playoff game will probably be the best of the four games. For Beaumont fans this is the second game of a double header that features West Brook playing first.

The Jaguars bring their A Game and shut out the North Forest Bulldogs. Central gets their predicted 21 points but the Jaguar defense doesn't let the North Forest running game to get churning. Congrats to the Jaguars on an impressive bi-district win. Next up for Central is Lockhart.
