Guest Nederland Bulldogs Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 Who Will Go Farther in 4A/ Ned, Dayton Or Central?
BigWolf10 Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 you know what? It don't even matter to me. I want all three to do well from hea on out. It's all about those kids being sucessful to me. I'll be wearing my Jag sweat shirt, My purple Tee underneath and some Black and gold in there somewhere ;D

PURPLE 4EVER Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 Just looking at the brackets... Dayton is easily in the easier bracket, but one week at a time. GOOD LUCK TO ALL THREE TEAMS! Hopefully, Nederland and Central will play again.
jake94 Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 Dayton. If my Dogs are fortunate enough to gut another one out, then we will face a very difficult task against Friendswood more than likely.
bullets13 Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 it's impossible to tell who's going to go on a big run, but i think it sets up best for dayton, and i think they're the best team of the three as well.
NeDeRlAnD b-DoG fAn Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 Hopefully all three teams keep winning

Just looking on paper this is absolutely correct but no one expected the Giants to win the Superbowl last year either.

FriendswoodFan Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 I don't see Nederland getting past Friendswood if both are good/lucky enugh meet in another round. Dayton could go pretty far.
westend1 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Ned was only so-so with their starting QB playing. I can't see them meeting Friendswood with him gone. They have already fooled me once. By the way, Friendswood should be about ready to step up with the big boys. What is their latest body count? Are they close to 5A size?
Hawkeye Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Friendswood is landlocked. They will not get any bigger. I was thinking the same thing. I guess if all the wives started having twins....Hmmmm ??? Their enrollment number is like 1950 this year.
NDNWarrior Posted November 19, 2008 Report Posted November 19, 2008 Hope that Nederland continues their trek in the playoffs, but I think realistically, Dayton will go farther.
BMTSoulja1 Posted November 19, 2008 Report Posted November 19, 2008 Not trying to put down another team and sound like a homer, I would have to say Central. Our defense is peaking at the right now. On the other hand, Dayton's defense seems to have been lacking as of lately. They allowed Forest Park to put up 30 points and allowed Livingston's offense to move the ball at will. If Dayton can prove to me that they can tighten that defense up, they will be back in the State simifinal game.

BMTSoulja1 Posted November 19, 2008 Report Posted November 19, 2008 Nope. We held them in check for most part of the game excluding a long run by one of their RB's. In the 4th, it turned into the Dustin Harris show.

Second half, they were just methodical and ran it right at us and were successful til the last few minutes.
BMTSoulja1 Posted November 19, 2008 Report Posted November 19, 2008 Yea, after watching Livingston's first drive and seeing how hard those big RB's ran, I know at one point or another that they would bust a long one.
liltex Posted November 19, 2008 Report Posted November 19, 2008 30 points-28 points still not enough.Broncos are too powerful on offense.I do not see a roadblock from another semi-final game.Dayton shows up ready for the challenge ahead.Pollsters are still riding high on the Broncos-one site by 31.Dugat should run wild in this one as Elgin has not had the years of experience that the last Broncos opponents have for 3 yrs.trying to contain him.Anybody know if 10 punts in 9 games is any kind of record?Broncos put up points almost every possession.
